POV: it's been a while since Meredith and Derek have talked to each other. Meredith is feeling blue after the conversation they had.

-"get up! We are going for a drink" Cristina said as she held Meredith's hand and started walking
-" no, I want to go home"
-"oh come on mer don't be so miserable"
-"what if Derek is there? I don't want to see him"
-"he won't I saw him scrub in for a surgery"
-"mhm! Okay let me grab my coat"

They enter the bar, they sit on a table and before they even start to talk Cristina gets a page from Burke.
-"oh no I have to go"
-"okay let's go"
-"no I'm going! You stay here drink and I'll be here soon"
-"no Cristina what am I going to do alone"
-"just drink and try to forget" Cristina yelled as she was leaving the bar

It's been an hour. Meredith is now very drunk
-"give me your keys" joe says
-"what why?"
-"you are drunk I'm not letting you drive"
-"ohhh" she said kinda mad "okay"
-"I can take you home" said a guy behind her
She turned around, a tall handsome man was smiling at her.
-"who are you"
-"I'm Jacob"
-"oh hi, Meredith nice to meet you"
-"want another drink before we leave"
-"mhmm yeah why not" she laughs

A song that Meredith likes starts playing on
-"wanna dance?" Jacob says
-"yeahh" she says and gets on the table
She is so dunk she is not aware of what she is doing
Jacob is dancing with her
Suddenly Meredith takes of her bra
Jacob goes close to her and grabs her ass
She is still dancing when Derek enters the bar
-"mer come down" he says angry
-"who is this Meredith" Jacob asks
-"he is my ex" she says angry
-"Meredith you are drunk come down now"
-"she is not you girlfriend anymore, leave us alone" Jacob says
Derek pulls Meredith of the table and takes her to the parking lot.
-"Derek leave me alone, I'm not your dog"
-"no but you are drunk, I'll take you home and I'll leave I promise"
-"I'm not dru.." she says as she throws up
Derek picks up her hair
-"okay I'm drunk! Wait are you trying to take advantage of me?" She says very angry
-"no mer i just want you to be safe please let's go home, we are not together I'm not trying to do anything"
-"okay then" she says
-"didn't you have a surgery"
-"he died before we even started"
-"oh I'm sorry"

The next morning Meredith and Cristina are talking about last night

-"and? What happened? Did you do it?"
-"no he just pulled out my t-shirt and jeans and you know I thought he was going to kiss me or something but-"
-"but?!" Cristina asked
-"but he just put me to bed he closed the light and he left"
-"who left?" Izzie came in the room"
-"McDreamy could have sex but he left her in the room alone" Cristina said while she was laughing
-"what? He just left?!" Izzie couldn't believe it
-"yeah! I mean he promised he wouldn't do anything and he didn't"
-"awww" Izzie moaned
-"I know" Meredith said with a big smile "maybe I should give him a chance"
-"no mer you can't work out things, why would you do that?" Cristina said dramatically
-"because I'm in love with him and he is so nice and protective and..." she paused
"Maybe we should get married, I mean he is the one and maybe I'm ready"
-"yes Meredith I knew it" Izzie said exited cause she love merder
-"I'm going to talk to him tonight" said as she left the room

Cristina disagree but she couldn't change her mind

The same night Meredith went to find Derek so she could talk to him.
She saw him through a window in a room. The door was open and he was talking to the phone. Meredith paused before she said anything and waited to say all the things she was preparing for all day, until Derek said
-"yeah I'll be there at 20:00, can't wait to see you" he smiled and turned around
Meredith was already gone. He didn't get to see her and hear all the things he waited for so long. But now he had moved on...

Meredith went home that night and she started drinking tequila like it was water. Then she decided to take the car for a ride"

Meanwhile Derek was eating with his new girlfriend when he received a phone call from Cristina.
-"I'm on a date what do you want?" Derek asked
-"Meredith...she.. she had" she was crying so much he couldn't understand what she was trying to say
-"calm down Cristina tell me what happened"
She took a deep breath and said
-"Meredith had a car accident"
Derek  panicked, he left money on the table and left without saying a word. He got into the car. He started driving like crazy. When he arrived at the hospital Cristina was waiting for him. She was crying.

-"what happened?" He asked
-"she crashed into another car.they say she is in critical condition. She is in surgery.
-"who is operating?"
-"Nelson" she answered
-"what no! I'm not letting him touch her, I'm going in"
-"Derek no!" She tried to grab his hand but he was already gone"

-"She is crashing" Dr.Bailey yelled

He saw Dr.Bailey operating on her stomach and Dr.Nelson cutting her head.
-"stop" Derek said to Nelson
-"what?" He answered
-"don't touch her I'm scrubbing in"
-"Dr.Shepherd you can't operate here" Bailey said kinda mad
-"what? Why not?"
-"because you can not operate on people you are emotionally involved with" Bailey answered
-"now leave the room Dr.Shepherd"
-"I can't-" he started crying "what if—"
-"go wait with Dr.Yang" Bailey yelled at him

he took off his mask and walked out of the OR.
