Hello my beautiful readers! ❤︎
First of all, a big thank you to everyone who actually read through this story.
A big thank you to those too, who voted and commented or tried to make up theories! I loved reading all of them!

Now, in this "chapter" I kind of want to talk about the writing process of Jeu du Sang as well as going back to explaining what really happened, just in case.
If you want to, you are free to leave but if you're interested grab a cup of tea because this one will be bit of a ride I guess?

Now Jeu du Sang started off with me being really bored and writing some gibberish which I came up with in like five minutes. I would've never thought that I actually would make a story out of this, but after I published what is now the „ T E A S E R „ , I got a lot of positive feedback and decided that making a story out of this won't be all too bad.
Throughout the whole story I was really close to just taking this back, because I genuinely thought that it was too obvious that I finished the outlines and the plot really late.
But I was told that this story isn't as bad as I view it, and to be honest I'm really thankful that these people convinced me to not delete this short story!

The concept itself I tried to explain in the chapters around part 13.
Jeu du Sang, which is French for Game of Blood is a word play. Of course it does translate to Jeu du Sang, but I intended the title to actually spoiler the plot.
It is Yeosang his game (= du Sang), he has blood cancer [leukaemia] (= of blood) and he uses this game kind of as his escape from reality (Jeu = Game).
Now I know that not everyone speaks french, but I never really paid attention to that until three people had to convince me that putting the english title would be a smart idea.
As I said, Yeosang in this fanfiction is a teenager who is diagnosed with leukaemia. Hongjoong and Wooyoung, who were side characters are people he met in the hospital when he got diagnosed. Both of them died before Yeosang was able to go home again. That's why he felt so sorry towards Wooyoung who died as a young child and that's why Hongjoong was stressing about time and how his days would end, but he accepted his fate.
Now the burned kid, remember how I made Seonghwa half a dragon? Yeah, he is the kid that died in a fire.
So overall, Jeu du Sang is a game in which Yeosang was the opposite of his reality, but he got too caught up in the game. Mingi was the one to bring him back to reality, as he is sick of seeing his friend drown in self pity and Yeosangs attempts of denying reality.

Even though this story probably wasn't one of the best, I still hope you guys enjoyed reading and will join me when I start my next story!

Until then, have a beautiful day ~
