Alice stared at her reflection with content in her eyes, shining brightly at her. 'Kil!' she yelled happily as she ran down the stairs in her low heeled boots. 'Kil!' hem of her blue flowery dress flattered in the air, trying to catch up as she ran around the big mantion trying to find her husband. 'There you are!' she chuckled as she threw herself in warm arms of Kilgrave who, as usually at this time, was sat in the armchair, reading fresh news paper with his glasses on. 'Hi beautiful, are you ready?' he pulled her in his arms and rested a kiss on her forhead 'Look!' Alice squirmed and pointed at her face, trembling out of excitment. 'What is it?'Kevin rose his eyebrows up and tried to inspect her features in the search of what she was pointing at. 'Crazy girl, are you going to tell me?' he scoffed and cupped her cheek as she nodded 'I got a wrinkle!'

Indeed in the very corner of her left eye skin had a single shallow line. A sign of Alice heading towards her thirties. 'Oh my!' Kilgrave took off his glasses and stared at her skin, his face lighting up every minute 'I'm aging again' Alice giggled in awe as she pulled him up, getting off his lap. 'That means I can spend my life with you and I will get just as wrinkly as you' she pointed out cheekily as she rushed to grab her handbag. 'Let's go, we should celebrate!' They headed over to the car, the driver was waiting for them with a polite smile. He opened the door 'Mrs Thompson' he nodded politely at Alice before they pulled off, driving to the city for a celebration lunch. It was their anniversary after all.

Alice almost shot out of the car, causing Kilgrave to run up to her as they walked towards their favorite cafe in the park. He held her hand and she kept glancing at him as if enchanted. 'I'm starving! First course, prosecco' she chuckled and kissed Kilgrave's cheek as they walked down the street. But before they could turn the corner leading into the gardens, she spotted something. Or rather someone. 'Kev' Alice froze and whispered, tugging on his sleeve. Kilgrave followed her gaze and also stopped, holding her hand tighter 'It's her' she whispered as they stared at none else but Jessica Jones, rushing towards off licence. Both of them held bitter memories towards her. To some she may have been a hero. But to both Alice and Kevin she was a reminder of pain she caused. 'I'm going to kill her' Alice whispered and before Kilgrave could stop her she started running towards the raven haired woman. She was ready to fight until she wins. After all it was Jessica who gave her back to the lab when she needed help. She left Kilgrave to die before. She needed to die.

Alice was just about to drag the attention of yelling at her once she was close enough but breath hitched in her throat as she bent in half, overhelming, sharp pain in her abdominals stopping her from any action. Jessica disappeared in the shop and Kevin ran up to the hurting girl. 'What's going on, Ruth?' he called distressed as he saw her nearly collapse on the ground. 'I don't... I don't know, it hurts here' Alice moaned, her eyes going watery as she curled on the pavement and groaned in pain once more. 'Call the ambulance' she asked Kil who had it already dialed.

It felt like forever before they arrived but soon enough Alice was placed on a bed and given enough morphine to drift off. 'She's my wife, tell me what happened to her!' Kilgrave invited himself into the car so he could stay all the time with his love. 'We don't know yet, sir' one of the paramedics replied shortly and they sped through the city to the nearest hospital.

Alice was placed under intense care and the appropriate doctor was called immidately thanks to convincing nature of Kevin. He invited Kilgrave to the room where the beauty was slowly regaining her contious, and prepared ultrasound to see what caused those cramps. 'Is she any better?' the doctor nodded and shrugged 'I wouldn't worry' he said casually, making Kilgrave angry. 'What do you mean, you idiot, she just collapsed out of nowhere, screaming in pain!' mind controller growled, calming down only when Alice broke the silence in the room 'Where am I' she asked weakly and Kevin immidately kneeled next to the bed, caressing her hand. The doctor thought it was pointless to explain anything before approaching cold slimy device against her belly

'There is nothing to worry about. You were exposed to sudden stress, madam. It's not suitable for your condition. Luckily the baby is just fine' the doctor smiled weakly, not wanting another outburst from Kevin.

'The baby?' Kilgrave moved his gaze up to the screen slowly and so did Alice, both of them staring at little spar of life moving inside her in shock. 'Y- you didn't say' Kevin turned as white as a wall and Alice's cheeks  flushed deep shade of crimson 'I didn't know... well I did suspect it but... but I thought it was impossible' the doctor left them alone, printing out the ultrasound pictures for them to stare at instead.

They slowly moved their eyes from the blank screen onto each other's. 'I'm pregnant' Alice chuckled weakly and held Kilgrave's cheeks as he held hers back, shyly touching her abdominal after a moment of hesitation. He chuckled back and hugged her tightly, tears of happiness escaping his eyes as he held his whole world in his arms.

Kilgrave got everything he ever could dream of.

And, after all, they lived happily ever after.
