3rd person pov.
y/n woke up by blinding lights as her and Jaden's bed were right beside her window, even though she liked waking up to light, this ain't it. lol
right next to her was her boyfriend of 3 years, Jaden. His hands were around her waist and he was still deeply asleep.
it was nine in the morning, which is earlier than y/n ever really got up because her and Jaden would stay up all night having deep conversation, which she loved. y/n was the luckiest person in the universe to be dating Jaden, since every girl wants him. she admired his goofiness, his kindness, and most importantly his attractiveness. she didn't believe how a girl like her got such a beautiful man, but she was blessed either way.
y/n stared at her boyfriend with all love in her eyes. after a while, she knew that if he woke up any second she'd look creepy. but she couldn't help it, she'd go hours just looking at him.
"bubs" Jaden whispered in his morning voice. god that morning voice, that was ultimately the best thing about him.
"yes my love?" y/n said.
"stop staring, it's creepy." Jaden quietly chuckled. y/n's cheek quickly turned into a light shade of pink. (cant relate, im black <33)
"oh Jaden, how could I not!" y/n giggled. which made Jaden smile widely. he turned over only to be blinded by the sunlight.
"shit, ow. I think we need to move the bed a little bit further from the window." Jaden said while closing his eyes. y/n giggled and agreed.
"you know that I really love you?" Jaden said. neither of the pair had said their "I love you's" yet. y/n was shocked. even though they'd never said it, they've shown it, they both didn't really express their feelings, as it was hard for both of them.
"I love you too." y/n smiled widely which made Jaden smile. he hugged her tightly, like it was the last time he'd ever get to touch her.
and it was.
that afternoon..
Jaden's pov:
I was sitting on the couch watching tv, y/n had went to the library to check out a book. I loved how y/n was a book reader, that made her so much smarter and attractive.
I switched to the news and saw a building on fire, I thought it was McDonald's or something so I didn't think much until the reporter said anything.
"Fire has been spotted at the L.A library. Two people have died, the names Carol, a 64 year woman, and y/n, a 20 year old woman.
my heart stopped. y/n? my y/n?
incoming call by the L.A police or something...
"Hello?" I said, trying to hold back my tears on call. I knew what this call was, them coming to say that she was burned alive.
"Is this Jaden Hossler? Boyfriend of y/n y/l/n?" the police asked.
"Yes ma'am. Is everything alright?" I said. I knew what happened, but I wanted to see if it was true, which it probably was.
"Your girlfriend, y/n has died from the fire at the library. I'm sorry for your loss. You can come by the hospital to see her in room 16." the police officer said, emotionless.
"i-i..okay." I gulped.
at the hospital :(
Jaden had driven quickly to the hospital, on the way he ran through three stoplights. He'd worry about that later. He quickly ran to room 16, and found his girlfriend laying in the hospital bed.
"y/n. why? why did you have to go to the library? why did you have to get another diary of a wimpy book? you literally have all of them." Jaden cried.
"but I'm glad, I've been waiting to break up with you lol. peace out" Jaden said while laughing and walked out the room holding a middle finger.
