CONFUSE

A/N 

Bear with me while I listen to Hwasa's music to inspire and enjoy.

There's this part of the show that needs to involve some physical closeness or acting like a couple to excite the fans.

Hyejin: Byul-unnie, I need to do this. Hwasa whispers to Byul's ear

Moonbyul: (Shocked )Okay, but we need to do this for the fans. (Sigh) I wish I could really do this with her... What's the plan?

Moonbyul's POV

She wakes up at 10 am, feeling a slight headache due to drinking last night. Solar unnie is such a lousy drinker. I had to send her home; she was so wasted from just one can of beer that she almost passed out. I had to piggyback her to her bed.

Holding her phone, she looks at Hyejin's number. What should I do? What should I say?

The phone rings...

Byul feels nervous. If Hyejin is awake, what will she say? She remembers Wheein was with her last night. What if Wheein is there... Argh!

Hyejin: Hello? Yeoboseyo? Hello? Hyejin's sleepy voice

Byul: Umm, hello Hyejin-ah. Did I wake you up?

Hyejin: Yes, Byul-unnie?

Byul: Hyejin-ah, do you have anything planned for tonight?

A moment of silence...

Hyejin: No, nothing. I don't have any plans later. Why?

Byul: Do you want to go to the theme park?

Hyejin: Wow, I like that. But how? You know our status. I don't want to attract attention.

Byul: Don't worry. I'll take care of that.

Hyejin: Okay. Did you call Solar unnie and Wheein?

Byul doesn't know what to say or how to say that it's just the two of them. But she gathers her strength and tells Hyejin...

Byul: Hyejin-ah, is it okay if it's just the two of us? (Nervous about Hyejin's response)

Hyejin's POV

She just woke up, feeling body aches from the last show after two weeks of non-stop practice. It's really good timing that they got an award, so CEO Kim gave them a break. They needed to cope with the pressure they had during practice and other show guestings. She also feels proud of herself for winning solo performer.

Byul unnie asked her to go to the theme park. She really wants that. She envies the people she watches on TV going to places like that, not minding others' attention. But not them; they will attract attention wherever they go, and people will feast on them. That's the disadvantage of being a celebrity. They only enjoy themselves in other countries, not here in Korea.

At the theme park...

Moonbyul wears an ordinary black hoodie and pajamas, same as Hyejin. They wear reading glasses as if they are just some nerd students. They ride all they can. Byul always holds Hyejin's hand wherever she goes or when they ride. But Hyejin is too afraid to ride the roller coaster. It's okay; they just eat corn dogs and drink cola. They sit down on a bench far away from the crowd.

Byul: Are you happy? (Asking Hyejin while staring at a beautiful girl beside her)

Hyejin: (Nods) Um, yeah. Eating her corn dog, sipping her soda, looking around. I wish Wheein and Solar were here... (then looks at Byul, becoming silent). Hyejin wonders why Byul is acting strange these past weeks.

Hyejin: Unnie, is there something you'd like to tell me?

Byul gets tense. She knows Hyejin is blunt with her words. She doesn't know what to do...

Byul: Let's go home. I want to drink. Wanna go with me?

Hyejin: (Just watching Byul, feeling tense in the awkward situation) Okay, let's go. (I want to know what you're up to).

They go to an old restaurant, drink together, laughing at some of Byul's jokes. When she feels dizzy, Hyejin asks Byul to take her home. Byul sends Hyejin home. She stops Hyejin before she gets out of the car. Byul holds Hyejin's hand and hesitates to say something...

Hyejin: Waiting for what Byul will say, starting to feel tense in the awkward situation...

Byul: Hyejin-ah... I like you...

There, she drops the bomb. Byul's feelings, she threw her heart outside. Meanwhile, Hyejin doesn't know what to say or how to react to Byul's confession. Byul is waiting for Hyejin's answer.

Hyejin feels the cold sweat on Byul's hands...

Hyejin: (Unnie, Byul-ahh, I like you too, but I don't know what to say in this moment. Can you give me time to think about this? I know you're into girls, but it really shocks me that you like me. I thought Solar unnie was your... like.)

Byul lets go of Hyejin's hands and turns to the steering wheel. It's okay; I will wait for your answer, feeling rejected.

Hyejin gives Moonbyul a hug and kisses her cheek before going inside the condo.

Byul smiles, at least feeling happy with Hyejin's gesture.
