A/N POV

Wheein, feeling tired and exhausted, looks around, finding herself in an unfamiliar place. She wonders why she keeps walking along an endless road when she feels the bus stop is near, yet it seems so far away. All she wants is to go home and lay on her bed, to see Ggomo, her friends, and to sing and laugh with them.

Suddenly, the scenery changes. She notices a girl crying on the bridge, calling out someone's name, and she feels confused.

"Why am I on the bridge?" she questions herself.

Turning around, she sees the dark expanse of the Han river, resembling her blurry dream. She approaches the girl, who appears to be around 18 years old, with short blonde hair and a morena beauty.

Wheein: "Hi, excuse me. Are you okay? Why are you crying here?"

She is shocked when she hears the girl call her name, hugging her tightly before everything goes bright.

The brightness feels like falling from the sky and hitting the ground. Slowly opening her eyes, she sees white walls and ceilings, machines ticking with lines she doesn't recognize - medical apparatus she's only seen in movies or dramas, wires connected to her body. Her hands are swollen from the small tubes, an oxygen tube in her nose aiding her breathing. Turning her head, she notices a familiar person with long hair, a beautiful lady sleeping in a chair beside her bed, holding her hand.

She slowly recalls the events leading to this moment but finds her mind empty, aching with pain. As she touches her head, the lady, Hyejin, wakes up, noticing her movement.

Hyejin stands up, pressing the button, summoning doctors and nurses to check Wheein's condition.

Dr. Kim Teahyung observes his patient, checking the monitor and her eyes, asking her questions.

Dr. Kim: "What do you feel right now?"

Wheein: "Doc, my head aches so much when I try to recall what happened, but I can't remember anything. Why is it like that?"

Dr. TaeHyung: "Ms. Jung, you just woke up from a coma. I suggest you take more rest and avoid overthinking; it won't help you regain your memory. Take it slowly. I'll recommend you to our best psychologist to aid in your recovery."

Hyejin silently listens to the doctor-patient conversation, feeling worried.

"Did Wheein get amnesia? What's going to happen to us?" She has many questions running through her mind.

Dr. Teahyung: "Ms. Ahn. Ms. Ahn Hyejin..."

Hyejin snaps out of her thoughts.

Hyejin: "Yes, Doc? Sorry, were you saying something?"

Dr. Kim acknowledges Hyejin's concern, recognizing the inseparable friendship between her and Wheein.

Dr. Kim: "As I was saying, Ms. Jung needs your help or her family's. I'll observe her more, but it's common for patients after a coma to experience memory loss. Our brain has its way of healing itself, and in due time, she'll remember everything. Let's give her time, support, and understanding."

After speaking with Hyejin, he turns to Wheein, lightening the mood with a smile and approaching her bed.

Hyejin: "Hi, thank God you're awake." (Tears well up despite her efforts to hold them back.) "Do you still remember me?"

Wheein, in tears, raises her arms for a hug. "Hyejin-ah, why would I forget you? You're my one and only best friend. Nothing can separate us, not even death. Thanks to you, if it weren't for you, I think I'd still be walking endlessly. I felt so tired when I heard someone crying on the bridge, and it was you. You were crying and calling my name at the Han river, just like we do when life overwhelms us. I'm so grateful to see you again."

Hyejin bursts into tears, feeling her heart tearing apart at Wheein's forgotten memories of their relationship. She hugs Wheein tightly and wipes her tears.

Wheein comforts her, jokingly telling her to save the tears for her funeral, as she's still alive.

Hyejin playfully hits her leg, saying, "I hate you!"

Wheein laughs, pretending to be hurt by Hyejin's gesture.

As they share a moment, there's a knock at the door. Byul and Solar enter, surprised to see Wheein awake. Tears of joy stream down their faces as they hug and cry.

Byul promises to take care of them all, ensuring such an incident won't happen again, while Solar vows to create a hit song for Wheein once she's well.

After their emotional reunion, Byul and Solar leave to let Wheein rest. Hyejin walks them out, sharing news of Wheein's selective memory loss.

Hyejin returns to Wheein's room, finding her asleep due to sedatives. She kisses Wheein's forehead, expressing her love and longing for her to remember. Tears continue to flow as she gazes at the one she loves and cherishes.
