RBB Building...

Wheein and Hyeejin arrived together at the office, while Solar and Byul arrived early as usual. They exchanged their greetings, but Byul greeted Hyeejin and Wheein in a cold manner. During their meeting, the awkward gesture of Byul caught the attention of Hyeejin and Wheein. Solar focused solely on the topic at hand. As the leader, she needed to maintain professionalism and avoid mixing work with personal matters. She simply gave Byul a warning look for her behavior towards the two members.

After the meeting, Hyeejin approached Byul.

Hyeejin: "Byul unnie, can I talk to you in private?" (She hesitated but disliked Byul being aloof to them. She knew they had unfinished business, but she wanted to ensure they separated on good terms that night. She felt puzzled.)

Hyeejin went to the practice room, with Byul following. Byul didn't even offer Hyeejin a happy face she usually reserved for her. She knew she shouldn't feel this way because if she didn't find out what Hyeejin did that night, she wouldn't discover who she truly loved. She must be thankful to Hyeejin and Wheein.

Byul: "Hyejin-ah, I know I can't compete with how long you and Wheein have been together as best friends or lovers. I know you have your reasons for not telling us, but I wish you'd just tell me that I don't have a chance. I feel like a fool. Why don't you trust me to understand you?"

Hyeejin's jaw dropped as she heard what Byul said. She couldn't even say a word. She was confused about when Byul knew about them. She had to clear her mind. She bit her lip and finger-combed her hair, feeling anxious about what she would say or do. It wasn't herself she was thinking about; it was how Wheein would react if she knew what Byul knew about them.

Byul felt the tension on Hyeejin's face. She told her what she saw that night, and she saw Hyeejin's face feel guilty. She knew Hyeejin didn't intend to deceive her; she was just being considerate. That's how she was—so sweet and loving. That's why she admired her personality.

Byul: "Hyejin-ah, relax."

Byul gave Hyeejin a comforting look. She hugged Hyeejin and whispered, "It's okay. Me and Yongsun are together now, thanks to you," and flashed a big smile at Hyeejin.

Hyeejin gasped at what Byul revealed to her.

Hyeejin: "Wait! Wait!" (She stopped Byul's hand in the air.) "Oh? Really? Wow, I'm so happy for Yongsun unnie."

Byul: "What? Why only Yongsun? Don't you really hate me, Hyejin-ah?"

Hyeejin burst into laughter.

Hyeejin: "No, unnie. Of course, I'm happy for the two of you. It's just that, finally, you've opened your eyes. I felt sorry for Yongsun unnie that night you dropped your bomb on me. I didn't know what to do. I didn't want to hurt both of you, and I didn't want to lose either of you. You're my family."

Hyeejin hugged Byul tightly. That's when Solar and Wheein came in, looking at both of them hugging and laughing alone in the practice room.

With a questioning look, Solar turned to Byul. "What are you two doing here?"

Byul wrapped her arm around Solar's waist and whispered, "I love you. Don't get jealous," giving Solar her greasy wink smile.

Solar tensed and gave Byul a warning look.

Wheein remained silent and sat on the chair. She didn't know, but when they got to the room and saw Hyeejin and Byul unnie having a great time together, it really pissed her off. She didn't want to sound jealous, but she couldn't control her feelings.

Hyeejin felt the odds in Wheein's silence. She knew what it was. She had already told Wheein about Byul's confession, but she knew how to alleviate that jealousy. She hugged Solar first and whispered congratulations to the new lovers, then burst out laughing to see Solar so shocked.
