ᴛʜᴇ ᴅᴀʏꜱ ᴡᴇɴᴛ ʙʏ making Aria more and more a broken soul, crying in the corners and feeling totally desolate. Her grades had dropped and her parents were worried about her. Michael was also heartbroken to see his little girl like this, but she decided that walking away was the best thing and he didn't inconvenience her, making him a real idiot.

-Every day you do it better, love. - Amelie came down from his lap and went to the bathroom, while walking her naked body. - What's wrong with you, Michael? You're kind of gone.

-It's nothing. - The blond whispered. - I must go, see you tomorrow. - He placed his clothes on his body and left that torture house.

He has never seen his best friend so broken and it killed him inside. The brightness of his eyes and that of his face had disappeared, as had a few kilos of his body and the joy that radiated every day. He felt his heart shrink as he thought of her in that state, what could he do? He thought it best to go home and rest, it wasn't right to think about her for so long.

The redhead was lying on her bed in a ball, as she cried for the thousandth time in the day and felt as her chest did not stop being hit hard by her heart, hurting more and more. How could anyone forget overnight? Her mind did not rest at all and she thought she would go mad.

-Honey, dinner is ready. - Her mother's voice took her from her thoughts and thanked her.

-I'm not hungry, Mom. - And it was true.

-Baby, you have not eaten anything but a little fruit for a week. - Shee sat on the redhead's bed and stroked her hair. - What's the matter with you, honey?

-Love sickness, nothing that can't be overcome at my age. - She whispered, knowing that it was ending with her.

-Okay, I'll leave the food in the microwave. - Her mother left a kiss on her forehead and disappeared.

She watched the moon make a small appearance at his window, illuminating most of the girl's room. Her mind continued to wander and her heart ached more and more, she could not bear all this for much longer. She came out of the blankets that covered her body and went to her closet to change clothes and then march towards the blond's house. The cold winter of Sydney pumpkin the bones of the redhead, making it shiver.

Michael was in the living room of his house, watching a movie on TV to try to escape the thoughts that were eating him up inside. The sound of the doorbell echoed throughout the house, making the blond wonder as his parents would not be late and did not wait for anyone. He walked to the door, being totally petrified to see his best friend standing at the door of his house with her eyes completely swollen and red, her face paler than normal and tears threatening to come out.

-Aria? - The blond asked surprised.

-Can we talk? - A thread of voice came out of his throat, making Michael feel worse than ever.

He nodded and gave her space to get in, while inhaling the girl's signature scent. Both sat on the couch, but neither dared to speak. Michael was just looking at how bad she was, not knowing if it was his fault or if something had happened in her life that would have forced her to be like this.

-I'm sorry, Michael.- The redhead spoke. - I shouldn't have said anything to you, I know I hurt you and you don't know how much I regret it. - She sighed.- Maybe you were sick of me long ago. - She whispered inaudibly, although the blond heard about it.

-It's okay, Aria.- Michael sighed.- I also behaved badly when I left and didn't speak to you, I think we're on peace now.

The girl nodded as her eyes collided with the boy's, both of them completely mesmerized and absorbed in their looks. Michael broke the eye contact and decided to ask her why his friend's sudden change.

-What happened to you, Ari? You're completely emaciated. - He stroked his friend's arm.

Her eyes filled with tears, which she tried to hide by quickly passing her hands under them. She shook his head and grimaced.

-It's nothing, just a bad time. - Her voice was in a thread.

-Aria, tell me what happened to you. - The blond one sued.

-It hurted me to see you replace me with Amelie, I mean. - Scratched her head. - You can do whatever you want with your life, but return to someone who hurt you so much...- Sighed.- Anyway, I have to go.- Shee got up to go to the door, but her friend was quicker and reached for her arm, turning her over.

He saw an Aria full of tears and very sore, something that worried the boy even more, who grabbed her face between his hands and looked into her eyes with supplication.

-I hate to see you like this, Aria.- He whispered.- Tell me what's wrong and I'll help you, please.

She only released a sob she had been trying to control, shook her head as Michael hid it in his chest, feeling how her heart was happy to feel it again, but raging with pain at seeing it so destroyed.

-Sorry about the show I put on earlier, I didn't want to bother you. - Aria whispered.

The two young boys were sitting in Michael's small garden while enjoying each other's company. She was a little less broken having him back, but she was still hurting because she was never going to be reciprocated. Instead, he kept thinking about what might have happened to his friend.

-It's all right, angel. - He smiled.- I would just like to help you in whatever happened to you, you know that I know you as if I had given birth to you and I know each and every one of your excuses.

She just took a deep breath, was afraid of his reaction and of losing him again, but that this was the final one.

-I have been more than half my life in love with you, Michael.
