Hi! This chapter is still a flashback. All parts written in Italicized form mean that they are flashbacks. Also, please find this note as a reminder that I am not against boyxboy relationship because I also support them with all my heart! And I'm sorry if my skill in writing BoyXBoy scene is not really good as this isn't my forte. But I will try harder next time!

I also have nothing against people who engage themselves in a polyamorous type of relationship. But cheaters should never use this as an excuse for them cheating. I know this may be a sensitive topic, but we should be aware and be able to differentiate which is which. I am willing to sit down with anyone to discuss my thoughts about this further. But please, let us all respect each other's preferences. Spread love, not hate!

CHAPTER 18

"I THINK I'M lost. I was about to go to the registrar's office but I can't find my way there," the innocent-looking boy smiled awkwardly then scratched his cheek with his index finger.

"This is actually the High School Department. The Office of the Registrar is at the east wing. Are you planning to enroll in high school?"

"Oh, no," he answered immediately. "I'm applying as a freshman at USC."

"USC is at the east wing," I told him again.

"Oh..." he mumbled. Siguro ay pakiramdam niya ay napahiya siya. "Then I was really lost. I didn't imagine that USC's actually huge. I mean, yeah, it's popular, and because I thought this was actually an exclusive school, akala ko medyo maliit lang 'yung school."

"Well, SCIS and USC combined, pretty much the school is really huge," I told him then shrugged. "Do you need a company? I can accompany you there if you'd like. Baka maligaw ka na naman, malapit na mag-cut off sa pag-a-accept ng application today. Babalik ka na naman bukas kung sakali."

"Okay lang ba? Baka may klase ka kasi..."

"No, it's actually fine. I don't have a class yet."

That's a lie. I have a class in 20 minutes. For sure, Scarlett would scold me for not attending the class. But I can't think of it so much, because all I want is to spend more time with someone I just met.

"Really? Okay lang ba talaga?" hindi nito makapaniwalang tanong sa akin.

"Yeah, sure," I told him. "At least I get to help you with your college application, I don't mind being a Good Samaritan for today."

He giggled at my remark. I don't know, but not many people get my humor and it's amazing to see him laughing. I can't help but smile as well.

"So, what? You want my company or not?" I asked him again. And damn, I really want him to say yes.

"It's my pleasure..." he said and flashed a smile at me. "My name's Keith. You are?"

"Name's Symon."

"It's nice to meet you, Symon," Keith said, extending his hand to me.

I accepted his hand and said, "Same here."

Fortunately, the classes for today were suspended because of the emergency meeting in the High School Department so I decided to spend the entire day with Keith. I found myself enjoying his company. Chill lang siya at para bang wala kang iisipin na kahit na anong problema kapag kasama mo siya. Hindi ko alam na posible pala na makakilala ng tao na mabilis mong makakagaanan ng loob. Keith was that person to me.
