Killing with you

9. Old Friends and Enemies

(Kurapikas POV)

I knew that they were there. Normally I would have killed them,  but firstly, they were unnormal good at spying and second, one of them was an old friend of mine, Killua Zoldyck.

I didn't knew the other one, but if Killua worked together with them, they had to be at least as good at Killua.

I was sitting next to my newest member, Leorio. He didn't seemed really relaxed, even quite nervous. So I was right. We were getting watched.

Even though I only new him since nine or ten days, I really liked him and respected his different, but really strong power. Even in these few days, he really helped the spiders out.

"We're beeing watched, am I right?", I asked him.

"I don't know for sure, but I have this feeling..."

We stud up synchron and laughed.

"Let's hurry Leorio. I want to teach them a lesson."

"But, if you knew they were there, why did you even ask me?"

"Oh, I wanted to know for sure that I'm not just paranoid. And there are two, so you should at least come with me. One of them is an old friend of mine, he's really strong, also he only works with people at least as strong as him."

"Then I'll defenetly come with you! Just to be safe of course..."

I chuckled, stud up and walked out of his room. We often just sit here together, sometimes don't even talk.

Leorio followed me, just like the two watchers. They followed me the whole way to the front door.

It rained really bad outside, but I didn't care. Leorio was standing behind me, Killua and his friend in the top of our base.

"Come out Killua, and bring your friend with you if your at it."

Two seconds after, they landed before me.

"I guessed that you'd sense us. How long did ya know?"

"I'm sure that it's you since 2 days, that there's someone since 3."

"Woah", Killuas friend said. He had spiky, green-black hair and wore a green high-waisted shorts and a green jacket over a white shirt. Killua wore his favourite outfit, a blue sweater with a white T-Shirt over it.

"Wait-"

Leorio stared at the green-haired boy.

"You're that little brat! You killed my partner that time when we tried to get the rare medicin! He's dangerous, Kurapika!"

"I know. Killua wouldn't work with an amateur, would he?"

When I looked at him, Killua blushed.

What's that? He shows emotions?

"Anyways, would you introduce yourself?", I asked Killuas friend.

"My name is Gon. Gon Freecs!"

Leorio looked furious, but he tried to hold himself back. Even though I could look directly through that. We knew each other quite good for the short time we spend together since we first met.

"You're that bounty hunter that is so famous, aren't you?"

"Yeah", he answered, "and that's why I killed your friend. He was my target. Sorry."

"You don't look sorry", Leorio answered with clenched teeth.

"It's just my job. Do you feel sorry for killing guards that guard your medicins?"

Leorio didn't answered.

I tried to get over it and started to talk to Killua.

"Why are you here anyway? And why didn't you show yourself to us? And how did you two meet?"

"Well, should I tell the whole story? I guess I have to."

                          ***

After almost a half hour of telling their story, I told Leorios and mine. After that, we started to arrenge something.

"So, will you do it? Will you let us capture you, Kurapika? It would be best if Leorio gets captured to, we looked him up in the Hunter-Web after we saw him with you and he's worth only a little less then you", Killua explained.

"For real?! I'm worth as much as Kurapika?", Leorio asked shocked but smiling.

"Not as much. But all spiders are worth really much! And we'll give you half the money.", Gon answered.

"So, not to offend you or anything, but you're just to kids. And even though we know you're strong, others don't. They will know that we are acting it up", I said, a little worried.

Gons and Killuas eyes met, andthey seemed like they were arguing. In the end, Gon seemed to lose and sighed.

"The person we're bringing you to does know about us two. And if they still don't believe us, we'll get Bisky. She's a really powerful, famous Hunter, and an ex-teacher of Gon", Killua explained.

Gon explained the rest to us: "Bisky really doesn't care right now from where she gets money, because she wants to get that really special object out of an videogame. She tried it once, but someone else won the game, so she wasn't able to get it out. But now, she has us, and with an entrance of one milllion yen, the owner will start a new game. That's what Killua and I want to spend some of the Money on, because first of all, it's fun, and second, the game was made by my father."

Gon tried to hide it, but I saw how his smile flitched when he said 'my father'. 

"I guess it's okay then", Leorio answered, "I've only heard rumors about Bisky, but she is believed to be the best stone hunter. She is ranked with two stars!"

"Yeah, I think me and bisky met before. We fought about some gem we both wanted, and she ended up buying it from me after I got it. And if that person really knows about the both of you, I guess it will work. But, to be honest, I'm kinda curious. Who wants Leorio and me?"

Leorio agreed. "Yeah, who is it? We're the ones who'll have to beat that person."

Gon and Killua looked at each other again and seemed to agree on something. 

"It's someone you know, Kurapika. And he hates you, because you took everything from him. And he wants other members of the Spiders to, to get revenge on everybody. Gon tried to fight him once to get his bounty, me too, so he knows about how strong we are", Killua explained.

Leorio looked at me, kinda confused, but his face completely changed after he saw me. I shivered, and I felt how my eyes went red, for the first time since at least three years.

"n-No, that can't-", I stammered. "I- I killed him! He's dead, everybody knows that! What are you trying to pull on me?!"

I must've seemed really scary, because neither Gon nor Killua looked in my face. 

"You have to be kidding me! How is that m*therf*cker still alive? And why is he pulling a move now, three years later?"

Leorio seemed to finally get it: "Are you talking about Chrollo? Chrollo Lucilfer?"

Gon answered: "Yeah. And he wants to meet you two, and kill Kurapika"

  A/N: sry I haven't been updating in so long! I just didn't really have motivation, and then there was homeschooling... Anyway, I'm trying to update more now!

April 2021: well, that updating didn't went that well, but i've been rereading the story and fixing some of my mistakes, and i'm about to start a new chapter right now! Im not so sure when i'll finish it, but i hope it's soon, maybe this week! I hope you still want to read this story after such a long pause, and please tell me if you see any spelling mistakes. I'll try to test read, but if you still find something, pls comment! Thx for reading 9 whole chapters of this mess btw haha!
