Hello! I am still new to Wattpad and fanfictions! This is my first Wattpad story and my third fanfiction so please bear with me! Constructive criticism is appreciated! I will also be taking my time with this story and I don't expect many people to read this but I will definitely let anyone who is interested know if I am discontinuing.
I decided to start writing this and see how it goes. If I like what I write down, I will move this completed or mostly completed story to my brand new Wattpad account or my main Quotev account for others to read.
This story is a fanfic about a Rito I made up. She lives a few years before the calamity happens and she lives in Rito village. However, she cannot fly due to an encounter with a group of moblins. This story follows her as she struggles with feeling the need to be accepted by the other Rito, proves she doesn't need to be able to fly, and helps with preparing for the calamity. You don't need to read the rest of this if you just want to start reading the story but this describes some of the main characters in this story (I may add more as the story progresses) and my inspiration for this story:
I was inspired by another story I read a long time ago (Sadly I forgot the name) that briefly mentioned a rito that was born without being able to fly and he jumped off a cliff near Rito village. Revali tried to save him but he still perished. After reading this, I started to wonder about how a rito that couldn't fly would live and the challenges that they might face. That idea slowly turned into a story and here we are a year later!
(Don't mind the terrible names. I'm bad at this thing. By the way, in this story, I'm going to say that Rito age the same as humans.)
Midnight: Female Rito with black and white feathers. Yellow beak with a black tip. Blue eyes. Inability to fly. Okay with a bow and good with a sword.
Revali: Male Rito with blue and white feathers. You know how he looks just search it up. Extremely talented with a bow. Able to use Revali's gale.
Blizzard: Extremely sick male newborn with white feathers and hints of black. Snow and Grayson's son.
Snow: Female Rito with white and blue feathers. Yellowish eyes.
Grayson: Male Rito with gray and white feathers. Blue eyes.
Charles: Male Rito with brown and white feathers. Commander of Rito village.
Star: Female Rito with black feathers and white stripe on forehead. Green eyes. Midnight's Mother.
Alex: Male Rito with dark grey feathers. Brown eyes. Midnight's Father.
Ash: Male Rito with dark grey almost black feathers and brown eyes. Born dead. Midnight's brother.
Silver: Young talented male Rito with light grey and white feathers. Amber eyes.
Robbie: Male Rito with Gray and black feathers, Dark brown eyes, and a black beak.
Sasha: Female Rito with pink feathers and light blue eyes.
Bella: Female Rito with magenta feathers and light blue eyes.
Bruna: Female Rito with beige and white feathers, Dark brown eyes, and a yellow beak.
Jaylin: Male Rito with light blue feathers, yellow beak, and dark blue eyes.
Jocelyn: Female Hylian who travels around Hyrule to research various things.
Indigo: Male Rito with dark blue feathers, a white patch, and a black stripe running down both wings. Midnight's son.
Mary: Female Rito with white and bright red feathers. Skye's Mother.
Skye: Small Female Rito with bright blue and white feathers. Midnight's granddaughter.
