(Skye's P.O.V)

I stare up at the large wooden village in front in me. Is this the right place? I wonder. I walk over to a nearby guard. "Excuse me, sir, Is this Rito Village?" I ask him. He nods. "Yep! Do you need directions to anywhere?" He asks. "I'm good! Thanks though." I say and start to make my way into the village. I pass by Rito going about their day and wonder if any of their parents or grandparents knew my family. Some of them must have since this is where my grandmother and mother were from.

According to my father, my grandmother left after the calamity hit 100 years ago. She traveled around Hyrule for a while before deciding to study ancient relics that could be used to stop Ganon with a large group of researchers. There, my grandmother had my father and when my father was 20, he married a young Rito who traveled around Hyrule, seeking adventure. It was only a few years later when they had me. However, when I was 3, my father left for a trip and sadly died. My mother then continued to raise me by herself until she died 10 years later due to illness. After my mother died, I spent the rest of my childhood being raised by the group of researchers and once I was 17, they gave me a special box that my father kept.

Inside the box were the stories of my family and a sketch of a beautiful village that had the words Rito Village written on the back. Almost 40 years later, I decided to leave the group of researchers to visit the village that my family came from, and here I am. It's a sunny spring day with a slight breeze. In the sky, a Divine beast soars above in endless circles. If I remember correctly from the other researchers, the divine beast was named divine beast Vah Medoh.

I travel up to a place called Revali's landing. As I step onto the wooden platform, my mind jumps back to the stories of my family and I remember that my grandfather was the Rito champion named Revali. Is this place named after my grandfather? I think. I stand on the platform and watch the large divine beast fly through the sky. If the history books are correct, that divine beast is where my father fell to a vicious monster created by Ganon.

I look away sadly and walk off to explore the rest of the village. I wonder if there are any historians in this village. Maybe they could tell me more about my grandparents. A green and white feathered female Rito walked by and I quickly stop her. "Hi. Sorry to bother you but are there any historians in this village?" I ask. "Well, the elder is kind of a historian. He should be sitting in his rocking chair at the top of Rito Village." She tells me. "Thank you. My name is Skye by the way." I say. "Nice to meet you, Skye. My name is Amali. I hope I see you around again sometime." She says.

We part ways and I head towards the top of the village where Amali said the elder will be. A few Rito wave to me as I pass by and kids run around the village. You could barely even tell that Calamity Ganon was currently affecting Hyrule with it's malice from within Hyrule castle. I eventually reach the top and knock on the wood of the house that I thought would belong to the elder. "Hello?" I say. "Come in." A deep voice says. I step into the nest and quickly look around. It looked like any normal house that would be built here except the large rocking chair in the center with a large male Rito sitting there.

"Hmm. I have never seen you before. How curious." The large Rito says. "Hi, My name is Skye. Are you the elder? Amali told me I could find you here." I say. "Yes, They call me the elder of Rito Village. What brings you here, Skye?" He asks. "I came because I wanted to visit the village my family came from. My grandmother, grandfather, and mother were born here." I tell the elder. "Oh, I see. If you don't mind me asking, what are the names of these family members? I study the history here and I may be able to tell you more about their lives here before they left the village." The elder replies.

"My grandmother was named Midnight, my grandfather was named Revali, and my mother was named Mary," I say. "Revali? As in the champion Revali?" He asks. "Yes, I believe so," I tell him. "Wait a minute, You are Revali's descendant? I always wondered if you were out there somewhere." He says. "This is great news for the village, Skye! We Rito have always wondered what happened to Midnight and her child. Where have you and your family been living all these years?" The elder asks.
