Part 13:Arrest and The Books

(Nobody's POV)

???: You are under arrest for treason against the nation!

Silence ringed within the guild. Nobody held any surprise, but everyone was hurt that the hero was falsely being accused of treason. Everyone knew if they he was innocent, they couldn't help him without getting arrested. Everyone resented the decision, but they couldn't do a thing.

Iris: NO! YOU CAN'T! WHAT HAS HE DONE WRONG!

Megumin:....Iris, they got Kazuma to. We can't do a thing without being considered a traitor. Even you. We just have to wait and help them with the trial. As much as I want to help, I can't get in prison. My parent's will kill me.

Iris: Eh? Megumin, your boyfriends is being sent to prison for no reason! Have you no shame!

Megumin: Boyfriend?! Eh!? Listen, this isn't a matter of your authority matters, its a matter of say something wrong and your dead, Iris! What if they consider you a traitor! The kingdom will be in shambles. Either way, we can easily win the argument, it's just we have to avoid excessive power abuse and ruling out the consequences. I want to help, but we need to later. For now, let them be, and once we have had time, we can come up with a sound argument. Anyway, the party already knows. I told the guild not to interfere when they arrest Y/N. If they did, half the guild would be behind bars. Everyone respects him. As for Kazuma, it doesn't take a genius to understand why the guild didn't help. But for him, they love him, especially since he is single. They also owe their lives twice now, so they would most defiantly do something rash. So I told everyone that we will handle his defense, and that they should just support them both.

Iris: Megumin, I hope you know what you are doing, because if you don't, and he dies, then I can't marry him in the future!

Megumin: Hes taken.

Iris: Taken?

Megumin: Taken.

Iris: B-By who?

Megumin: Me.

Iris: Megumin, no.

Megumin: Megumin yes.

Iris:.....just save him, alright?

Megumin: Alright, I will certainly try.

...

???: You will come whether you want to or not. Understood?

Y/N:...alright, but I want my books with me. I want to read them. They are quite interesting, you hear? I want them when I'm in jail. Also, I want to be able to talk to my friends and family, ya hear?!

???: Just because you are considered a noble doesn't mean we will give you those luxuries. We will let you read, but we cannot allow you to talk with anyone because you are currently under suspicion. 

Y/N: Alright.....well, I guess SOMEONE will have to go get them for me.

???: Your guards will take care of that.

Y/N: My, guards?...yeah, they will. Thank you. I will come quietly.

???: Good. Now, follow us.

(Y/N's POV)

I am currently being held with Kazuma at my cell. Like I requested, they brought me my books so I could discuss them with him. They most defiantly out me in this cell to either make me confess or simply because we know each other by treason or friendship or something. I showed him the book, and after reading one chapter like I did, he immediately understood the story and questioned how the story of The Stardust Crusader's was in this world. He actually came up with a sound idea of someone from our world simply making a joke on people who pass on, but when I showed him the prediction, he doubted his theory instantly. The theory really set him off with the comparison to Aqua being a priest and not a goddess. Both of us really started to question everything we knew about this world. But both of us knew two things. Either this person was somehow from this world, watched JoJo, and brought back information, and most likely studied us two, or that this story was somehow from someone from our world that we knew that died, and was old enough to either watch JoJo before us or after us and die. But we both knew one thing. They had somehow had access to either Earth or someway to understand that story of JoJo. And since the language is not English or Japanese, they wouldn't be able to understand a thing that either the manga or the show, and wrote about. However, they also knew about part 6, complicating things, because of no mention of part eight. Both of us have no true idea of this book. And both of us might not figure it out till later. However, Kazuma has not explained what he has read.....
