ONCE DAWN BROKE, THE Tusken Raiders and their companions set off towards the home of the Krayt Dragon. Settled upon the rump of the furry Bantha, Kera sighed in contentment, the feeling of the suns on her back was nothing but reassuring.

Unfortunately, it had taken a great effort for the inky haired woman to mount the creature. It was almost as if every second was a cruel reminder, sabotaging Kera of how embarrassing it had been ── failing to saddle the Bantha, leading to Kera falling sideways from its furry rump and onto the harsh, already sweltering warm, sandy surface.

What had made it worse was Cobb Vanth who seemingly looked as if he was writhing in amusement a few metres away. And what had made it, even more worse, from a little further away, the Mandalorian and his loveable wrinkly green child had witnessed all of it.

Kera loathed the idea of it and it was so much worse than it had actually occurred and was not some distant nightmare she could try to put behind her. Then again, she'd rather her embarrassing moment to occur over and over a thousand times to have at least one night of decent sleep.

It had been a good hour now with the suns basking moulting hot on their backs, Kera knew it would take a fair bit longer given the fact they were riding Banthas instead of using speeders. Eventually, the group became stagnant overlooking at a high cliff the rusty-red mountain, metres below, a hollow cave etched in its surface.

After dismounting their Banthas, the four Tuskens discussed with the Mandalorian what was to take place. With a translation to both the Marshal and the Deputy ── it was explained by the Mandalorian that the Krayt Dragon was to bed fed. Perched upon the rock with narrowed eyes, Kera observed with the others, far into the distance, where many metres below a Tusken raider led the Bantha to the openings of the cave.

"They say it lives in there. They say it sleeps," The Mandalorian translated.

The child had made its way from its position beside the Mandalorian to Kera, only to coo gently in a warm hello and settle down beside her. Kera only winked playfully in return.

"It lives in an abandoned Sarlacc pit," The Mandalorian informed as he peered downwards, gaze locked upon the Krayt Dragon's home.

"Thanks, Captain Obvious. I'm sad to inform you that we all managed to picked that up right away," Kera noted duly as Cobb Vanth snickered. The Mandalorian lowered the binoculars from his visor, not even caring to relalitate to further his banter with the Deputy.

All the Mandalorian had been able to register was that his insides were suddenly frazzled with panic, noting the child had disappeared. It had only taken a few heart lurching seconds for the Mandalorian to realise that the child was now beside Kera, it's little green face drenched with a little innocent smile as the child returned the gaze father.
