ERIKS POV

Gwen was so tired by the time we got to the house, but insisted she wanted the house tour. I quickly walked up the long path to the door, and turned to see Gwen trudging behind me, still halfway down the path. I walk back to where she is and in one motion I have her up in my arms, bridal style. She squeals at my unexpected gesture, but quickly relaxes in my arms. Poor thing has been through a lot.

"You know I can walk by myself." She says as I carry her through the door.

"Yes, quite slowly may I add." She rolls her eyes at me. we walk into the house and her eyes widen at how big it all is. I made the designs for this house, and I'm pleased that she likes it. The entry has high ceilings and beautiful paintings on the walls. To the left is the sitting room with nice furniture, and to the right, a hall leading to the kitchen, dining room, and servants quarters. There is also a library with a baby grand piano. The first floor is mainly for entertaining guests and for eating. I never thought I would have guests, but it made the house feel complete. now that I have a daughter, I'm glad I added it. A grand staircase leads to The second floor that held the bedrooms. The master bedroom and the room which will now be Gwen's each had their own chamber room and walk in closet. The other three rooms were guest rooms, and there was a sitting room with a wall of books in it, as well as massive windows overlooking my rose garden. This room also had a baby grand piano. The third level, which is located underneath the first level was by far my favorite. I liked it because it was underground and felt like home. This floor held a more personal and comfortable library, a study that I worked in, a room for art supplies, and then my pride and joy. My music room. When I carry Gwen into this room, all her energy suddenly comes back. This room has high ceilings with a grand piano right in the center of the room. A chandelier hung over the piano, and an organ was up against the back wall in the corner. Along this wall there was also several other instruments such as cello, violin, guitar, clarinet, and so on. There were candelabras all around the room as well. Two other walls, one on the left and one on the right, were book shelves filled with music. My music. There was still room on the shelves I was still filling while composing, but it would soon be gone. There was another storage room where I can keep the rest.

"This place is magical!" Gwen says leaping from my arms and looking around. I laugh.

"It sure is." I agree. I walk over to an empty book shelf in one corner of the large room. "This, my little angel is for you." I say motioning to the book shelf. She looks at me confused. "For your music." Her eyes widen and she runs up and throws her arms around me.

"Oh thank you daddy! It's a privilege that my music can be in the same room as yours!" She says. I smile down at my angel and she yawns as tiredness makes its way back to her features.

"Let's get you to bed." I say, running my hand through her curls. She looks up at me with big pleading eyes.

"Carry me?" She says sweetly. I laugh.

"Ah! The eyes! They burn!" I say playfully before I scoop her up into my arms. She lightly punches my arm. I pretend to drop her and she shrieks.

I carry her up to her room and set her down on the huge bed. I like this room, because it's elegant yet has an undertone of a dark mood to it. It's perfect for Gwen. The main colors are white, black and red. "My room is the one across the hall, if you nee anything I'll be there." She smiles and nods, while getting a nightgown from her bag. "Also you can ask the staff for anything. We will get you fully moved in tomorrow, and you can change anything you like about this room." She smiles and hugs me.
