Chapter 24

*next morning*
I woke up and saw that Jack was still sleeping. I looked at my phone and saw that it was 11:30. "Crap, Jack wake up! We're gonna be late" i said shaking him. The appointment was at 12:00 so I took a really quick shower and changed into leggings, vans, and a white t-shirt. When I got out of the bathroom Jack was ready and we walked down stairs and into the car. "Im so nervous to know what it is" Jack said rubbing my thigh while driving. "Me too" I said smiling. We got to the doctors office and I signed in. "Bella Santana" the nurse said signaling me to come in. She took me to one of the rooms and a few minutes later the doctor came in. "Hello Bella, how are you?" "Good, how about you" "Not bad" he said. He shook Jacks hand and told me to lay down on the bed. "So do you guys want to know the sex of the baby?" he asked. Jack and I both nodded. "Ok are you ready" he said and Jack squeezed my hand and we both looked away. "You're having a baby girl" he said and smiled. "Oh my gosh" I said with a big smile on face and a tear slipped down my face. "We're having a baby girl!" Jack said and kissed me. We both got really emotional and started to tear up. When we were done we signed up for our next appointment and got in the car. "Im so excited, I can't believe it's a girl" I said. "I know" Jack said and kissed me. "We should invite everyone over for dinner tonight at my house" I said. "Sounds good" he replied.

I texted Mallory, Ally, Johnson, and Sam to come to my house for dinner at 7pm. Jack told his family too. "So this is how we're gonna tell them, tell me if this is a good idea or not. So we bake a cake and when we cut it, it's pink inside" I said. "Ooo yea I like that idea" Jack said. We stopped at Publix and grabbed all the cake stuff. We went back to my house because no one was there and baked the cake. We finished the cake and it was already about 6:30 so Jack went home to change and I changed into jeans, a cute top and sandals. I straightened my hair and when I was done there was a knock on the door so I went down stairs to get it. It was Mallory and Ally, soon later Sam, Jack and Johnson arrived. Lastly, it was Jacks family. We had ordered pizza and we all sat down to eat it. "So what's the big news" David said after we all finished eating. "We found out what the gender of the baby is!" I said holding Jacks hand under the table. I brought the cake over to the table and everyone was standing infront of us super excited. I grabbed the knife and Jack put his hand on mine and we both cut the cake together. We took out the peice we cut and screamed ITS A GIRL! Everyone went crazy and hugged both of us repetedly. Im so glad that everyone is supporting us.

Everyone left and Jack decided he wanted to stay over again, of course I let him. We were both laying in bed just talking. "What do you think we should name her?" I asked and put my hand on my belly. "Uh I'm not sure. We still have time to think about that though." "I know but I want to know these things already." "Well what names do you like?" He asked. "Well I want her middle name to be Marie." "Okay something Marie Gilinsky. We're getting somewhere." "I chose Marie you can chose her first name." "Um okay how about Emma or Lillian." "Aw I like Emma" "Ok so Emma Marie Gilinsky." He said and I smiled and nodded. He leaned down and pecked my lips. "Do you think we are gonna be good parents?" I asked. "I think you're gonna be a great mom, and I'll try to be a great dad." "You'll be great." I said and smiled.
