Chapter 28

Jack's POV

I walked to my apartment. As I was walking in the door, I saw Jack sitting on the couch. "Where's Sammy?" "Sleeping." Jack said. I sit next to Jack on the couch. "Who's the girl?" Jack asked. "Well... I meet her one day outside of our apartment. She's technically our neighbor." I said. "Oh yeah." Jack said. "Yeah..." I said slow. "Is there something going on?" He asked concerned. I want to tell him about Tanner, but I'm scared. I don't know why though? I'm just not ready to tell anyone. I'm still getting used to Tanner being my son. I'm still getting use on being a dad. "Nope. I'm just tired." I said. "Oh okay. Go to a nap." He said. "Okay I will." I said and laughed.

I walked back to my room. Honestly I wasn't tired because I took a nap at Mandy's. I shut my bedroom door. I was just going to watch tv, until Mandy text me. I laid down on my bed and turn the TV on. I turned it on MTV.

I was watching tv for a little bit, until I heard my phone go off. I hurried and I picked it up. I was hoping it was Mandy, but it wasn't. It was my ex girlfriend, Leigh. Leigh and I became boyfriend and girlfriend after Mandy and I broke up, but Leigh and I didn't start dating until four months after Mandy and I broke up. "Hey. I miss you." She sent me. I didn't know what to reply back, so I just put miss you too. "Maybe, I'll come see you one day." She said. "Maybe." I replied back. We texted each other for a little bit. Nothing to serious though, just texted each other about our life now and stuff.

After I got done texting Leigh, I went back out to Jack. "Didn't sleep long." He said. "Couldn't sleep." I said. I looked at the clock. It's been two and a half hours since I left Mandy's.

I was watching TV with Jack for awhile. Our apartment's doorbell rang. "I'll get it." Jack said. Jack got up. He opened the door. Well shit... I better start the explaining.
