Mandy's POV

We finally arrived at Sandy's Echo Preschool. I took Tanner out of the car. He held my hand as we walked in.

"May I help you?" The young lady asked me. "Just here to turn a paper in." "You can give the paper to me." She held out her hand. I handed her the paper. We were heading back out of the door, until someone yelled for me.

"Mandy?" I turned around. An old lady walked up to me. "Are you Mandy?" "Yeah. How you know?" I asked curious. "I could tell that your little boy was Tanner. Jack told me so much about you guys. He told me about your story as a young girl." "Oh." I didn't like people knowing my story. "You and I are so much alike." The old lady smiled. "Really?" "Come to my office. Tanner you can go play." Tanner ran off to play. We walked to her office.

We talked for about twenty minutes. She told me how she was young and kept her daughter a secret from her high school boyfriend. He found out later and now they are happily married. "Wow... We are so much alike." "Haha. Yeah." Sandy said. "Well I better go." I stood and Sandy stood up. "Well it was fun talking to you." She told me. "You too!"

We walked back to the front door. "Tanner!" I yelled for Tanner. He ran over to me. "Well have a nice day!" "You too Mandy!" We walked out of the preschool.

I buckled Tanner in his car seat. I got in the driver's side. "I can't wait to go back!" Tanner said. I smiled. Now it is time to go back home.
