Mandy's POV
"Mommy. Mommy. I'm hungry." Tanner said while shaking me. I rubbed my eyes open. "What baby?" I asked him. "I'm hungry." He said. I looked over at the clock and it read 9:30a.m. "Okay let's get dress first then we will go out to eat." I said while picking him up. I carried Tanner to his room. I sit him on his bed. I walked over to his closet and picked him out a tee shirt with a baseball on it, shorts, socks, and his black Under Armor tennis shoes. I put his shirt and shorts on him, then I put his socks and tennis shoes on. He followed me to the bathroom. I put tooth paste on his tooth brush. He then started to brush his teeth. After he brushed his teeth, I carried him out to the living room. I set him on the couch. I turned the TV on SpongeBob.

I walked back to my room to get ready. I put a tee shirt on with black running shorts. I then put my socks on and my black Nike tennis shoes. I walked to the bathroom. I brushed my teeth. I then combed my hair out and pulled it up. I walked back to my room to grab my phone and a pair of sunglasses. As I was walking out of my room, I made sure that my bedroom's lights were turned off. I turned Tanner's bedroom lights off then the bathrooms. I walked out to the living room. I grabbed my cross body purse off the living room table. "Let's go baby." I told Tanner. He got off the couch and walk to me. I picked him up. I turned off the TV. I grabbed the apartment keys and my car keys off the table where the TV is sitting on. On my way out of the door, I locked it.

We arrived to the car. I buckled Tanner in then I got in. I started the car and pulled out of the apartment's driveway. "What would you like to eat?" I asked Tanner. "PANCAKES!" He yelled. I just laughed. I knew the right place to take him.

After fifteen minutes of driving, we arrived at IHOPS. I got out of the car. I then got Tanner out of the car. He held my hand as we walked in. "How many?" The young boy asked. "Just two." I said. "Okay it will be about ten minutes until we can get you a spot." He said. "Okay." I said. Tanner and I set down until they were ready to sit us. Tanner didn't really say anything in those ten minutes we waited. The lady came to get us. We followed her to a table. "What can I get you to drink?" She asked. "What do you want to drink baby?" I asked Tanner. "Orange." He said. "I'll just have an orange juice and an apple juice." I told her. "Okay. I will be back with your drinks then I will take your order." She said. We waited for two minutes until she brought out our drinks. While she gave us our drinks, she gave Tanner crayons and a coloring sheet. "Okay. What can I get you guys?" She asked. "I just need three plain pancakes and three banana pancakes with a fruit bowl." I told her. "Okay. Your food will come soon." She said then smiled. I smiled back at her. Tanner didn't really pay any attention to me because he was too busy drawing. I was texting my mom as we waited for our food. We waited fifteen minutes until our food came. "Thank you!" I told the lady. "You are very welcome!" She said. I put syrup on Tanner's and mine pancakes. "Can I have some fruit mommy?" Tanner asked. "Sure baby." I said. I gave him half of my fruit bowl. We ate for twenty minutes. The lady came back to our table to give me a receipt. I took my credit card out of my purse. Tanner gathered his crayons and coloring sheets. We got up to leave. Before we left, I gave the young boy my credit card to pay for breakfast. He then handed it back to me.

We walked back out to the car. I got Tanner into the car. I then got in the car. "I'm stuff. My belly is going to explode!" He said. I laughed. "Where are we going mommy?" He asked me. "I guess we are going to go Walmart to buy food and other things." I told him. "Okay." He said.
