"Now, I don't want any letters sent back to the Manor. The ones from last year were distressing enough. Merlin, the mayhem you caused. I'm surprised they haven't expelled you yet." Narcissa said exasperatedly, fixing the ties of each of the girls.
"Yes yes mother." Clarissa replied, rolling her eyes.
"Especially you, Clarissa." Narcissa glared at her daughter. To say Clarissa was a easy person to deal with would be a lie. She was like air before a storm, too calm, offering a sense of false-security. Before exploding into raging thunderstorms.
"Cissy, I think we will be alright. Harry Potter will be too busy murdering teachers or saving students and that will capture everyone's attention." Ursula laughed and Penelope smirked too.
"That's no excuse. Anyway, Penelope, Clarissa, go find a compartment. I should like to speak to Ursula for a moment." Narcissa said to the three girls before ushering the oldest.
"I know we have discussed this before, but I just wanted to remind you that whatever anyone says about you, your surname or your parents, and I can't promise that they won't say things, you should ignore it and remember that you always have allies with you. Goodbye, Ursuala." Narcissa stated, before offering a small smile at the girl and ushering her onto the train.
"Thank you Aunt Cissy, see you at Christmas." Ursula replied before climbing up the stairs and trying to find the other two. As she walked down the corridor of the scarlet train she looked in each compartment, scanning the people she had gone to school with for already 2 years.
Of course, Ursula had received slander and cruel words all her life, curses following her. Penelope too, the niece of a convicted murderer, however both of them always ignored the words, and held their heads high with confidence. Anyway, she had her family and they would always be there for her.
"Ursula, in here." a voice hissed and she turned around, only to see Draco calling her.
"Draco? I need to find Clarissa and Penny." she replied but he shook his head.
"We need your help to scare someone." Draco said and she scoffed.
"First, why are you trying to scare them? And secondly, why should I help you?" she asked, folding her arms before turning her head to look at the others in Draco's compartment. She recognised all of them, having seen them at pure blood gatherings and balls. On the right were Crabbe and Goyle, who followed Draco around like henchmen, and on the other side were Blaise Zabani and Theodore Nott, both who looked bored out of their minds.
"Because I'm your favourite cousin?" He pleaded and Ursula rolled her eyes.
"Nope." she replied, however before she could take a step the entire train stopped, a chill washing over it. The windows froze over and it felt as though there would never be another happy thought to fill the world. Like she would never hear laughter or see a smile again.
"What was that?" Draco asked but Ursula put a finger to her lips, signalling that they should be as quiet as possible.
A gliding, wraith-like, dark creature came out of a compartment, before making its way up the corridor. Ursula tried to move but as she took a step, the floor creaked, alerting the creature immediately. Suddenly, it raced up the hallway stopping just before it reached the girl. She stood there motionless, staring at the dark figure, unable to see its eyes.
At this point, many of the other students and passengers poked their heads out of the compartments to see what came of Dementor. After what felt like eternity to Ursula, the creature flew around her, before flying out the window. She stood there, still trying to understand what had happened.
