After a good five hours of sleep, I was awakened by a knock at my door.

Ugh. Could they at least give me the common decency of letting me wake up on my own?

The unknown person doesn't bother waiting for me to answer. I quickly covered myself in the comforter trying to hide the fact that I was in a nightgown that was a bit too revealing for my liking but the temperature in my room was undeniably hot, so I picked it anyways.

After the door creaks open, there reveals Dream back in his usual mask and shiny armour.

"Get ready," he says firmly.

"For what?"

"After your little stunt yesterday, it seems that a lot of the members that were present don't believe how our relationship can hold off a war when you seem like someone that would go rogue. Wilbur thinks it is crucial for you to become more knowledgeable in the history of the country and I agree. If we want people to take you seriously, you need to take a more active role. I got someone to teach you the basics and that starts now.", He stares at me with an annoyed expression as he notices I am not moving, "Well what are you waiting for, let's go."

I already feel the heat rising to my cheeks. "I would prefer it if you left. My night clothing isn't the most conservative."

He only rolls his eyes and goes to leave the room. "Didn't seem like you had a problem with that yesterday", he mumbles on his way out the door.

With him gone I get out of bed and choose my outfit. I picked out a simple, light blue dress, that despite the one yesterday, had a lot more coverage. I go over to pick a pair of shoes out. Despite the countless options of over the top options I settle for a pair of white flats.

Now that I was fully dressed, I had a chance to finally comprehend what Dream was saying. I was now being subjected to boring history classes with God knows who teaching it.

Now that I was ready for the day, I decided to leave my room, not bothering to wait for Dream to come back.

I exit the door to the hallway that contained it. It was dark despite it being day already, mostly due to the lack of windows in the corridor. My eyes go towards another door. This was the only other one in the hallway and I was curious to what was inside.

I reach for the handle as I suddenly hear a voice stopping my efforts.

"I wouldn't open that door."

I turned my head to see the voice came from Sapnap, the only one of Dream's members that I have met.

"What is inside?" My mind circled around dozens of possibilities as to what the door was hiding.

Sapnap smiled and his soft eyes swirled with sincerity. "It is Dream's room. He doesn't let anyone go inside." He pauses before continuing, "I mean eventually you will." His eyes fall to the sparkling ring on my left hand.

My stomach hurt at the thought of having to share a room with him. His room as I imagine would probably be dark and windowless. At least it wouldn't fool my mind into thinking this is less than a prison.

"I will be teaching you lessons on history. Where would you prefer we go?" Before I could answer he added, "Dream has specifically asked us to not go into your bedroom."

I rolled my eyes at his wording. Dream doesn't 'ask' he only commands.

After asking him the options, we decided it would be best to go outside. He escorted me to the garden and it was breathtaking. The assortment of flowers made me relax a little because of how much it reminded me of home.

We sat down on a picnic bench and he took some of his books out. We spent a little while going over what I already knew so he wouldn't have to reteach it. After assessing my current knowledge, he dove straight into the new information.

He presented a picture of a man sitting on a throne. "This was King George the First, he was the last real monarch. After he died, Dream took his place."

I knew of King George or at least I knew he wasn't bad. The country was more content when he was ruler.

"Why doesn't he force people to call him King Dream?" I jokingly ask. It seemed like something the narcissistic bitch would do.

Sapnap thought to himself for a second. He didn't seem like he didn't know the answer, it was more hesitation on whether he wanted to tell me.

"Okay, let me tell you the story of Dream and George."
