Part 13: the first kiss
     "Good morning sleeping beauty!" I opened my eyes to see mom hovering over my dresser , putting away clothes. "Merry Christmas!" She exclaimed walking over to me . It was Christmas ! I jumped out of bed and ran downstairs .
      "Merry Christmas!" Aasia came and hugged me, I guess we were on good terms now .
       "Yay!" I said, sitting on the floor as I watched Noah and Aasia open the gifts I got them . Dad was reading a newspaper on the kitchen table and drinking eggnog .
      "OH MY GOD l/n I LOVE IT !!!" Noah beamed as he unwrapped the new skate grip and shoes I had got him .
     "I love this," Aasia smiled , holding up a hoodie I got her and a bunch of rings , chains and bracelets . "Thank you." We hugged and I opened up my phone and scrolled through my messages, realizing that I had to go to Louis . I called him.
       "'Whydyou only call me when you're high?" He said , groggily . I laughed , Artic monkeys was our favorite.
       "Merry Christmas partridge ." I smiled , "and a partridge in a pear tree🎶" He laughed on the other end
        "When are you coming over? "
       "Once I'm done opening these presents! " I grinned . "I'll be at your house at - 12. " it was 10 now , and that gave me time to open the rest of my presents.
       "Okay see you! " he ended the call and I opened the presents I had got : new AirPods , a new laptop, some new clothes , jewelry, shoes, wheels , and a bunch of chocolate.
      "Thank you guys! I love everything ." I responded, checking my phone for the time. It was 11. We made some hot chocolate and ate cookies by the fire . Aasia was surprisingly happy after last nights 'incident'. We made up , and talked about some drama at my old school. It felt like minutes, but it happened to already be 12 .
     "I have to go!" I shouted , grabbing my jacket and running upstairs . I grabbed the presents for his family and obviously louis'.
     "Where are you going? " Noah asked
      "Louis'. I'll be back soon." I ran out the door and jogged to his house . Which was hard , because the streets were so icy. I walked up his driveway and to his front door .
     "You're here!" Issie answered,
     "The one and only." I measured, walking inside to see his beautiful house . Wow . It was decorated from floor to ceiling with Christmas decorations and their Christmas tree had a bunch of presents underneath .
     "Come on," Issie said , gesturing to me to follow her into the couch area . Louis and Millie were sitting on the ground, opening their presents. He looked like a little kid . "Lou, look who's here." Issie said , tapping his shoulder as he spun his head around .
     "Y/n!" He beamed and got up to hug me . I embraced him back . He smelled like a warm fire and fresh cookies. "Come on, we have presents!" He said , sitting back down as I took off my jacket and pulled out the presents from my bag .
     "Ok, this is for Millie," I said handing Millie the set I had gotten her, including clothes, shoes, and a lot of jewelry , "this is Issies, " I said pulling out a long bag which held a bunch of cute clothes and records. I also got her some posters for her favorite movies. "And this is Louis!" I pulled out the new skateboard , the cassette and a winter jacket , since I had stolen his old one when we first met . He was using his dads old jacket . I watched as their faces lit up opening the presents.
     "You are an amazing gift finder," Millie gaped , opening the new shoes. I grinned.
     "Seriously , I live for these posters!" Issie said ,
     "I .... thank you so much. I love it!!" Louis embraced me in another hug and I grinned . I was happy they liked the presents. It took me 2 days to finish finding them . "Now it's our turn," he smirked and all of them handed me their presents . Their mom walked into the room and lounged on the couch, turning on a hallmark movie . Millie and Issie had gotten me a new skateboard , which had 2 wheels and was very daring . They also got me new clothes , jewelry and painting materials .
     "Here's my present," louis handed over a bag and I opened it up. There was a cute dress, jacket and these really cool boots that were meant for skating . He also got  me a piano book, relating to our first date . I mean hangout "Wait -" he looked around, "I'm missing a present, damn it!" He got up, "come, it's in my room." Millie and Issie made 'ooooo' sounds and I laughed . We left the family room and went to his room, which was clean.
      "What's the gift?" I asked , leaning on the door.
      "Here it is, I think you'll like it." He pulled out a jewerly box and handed it to me . We were standing by the doorway and I slowly opened it .
    "Oh my god Louis," It was stunning . I couldn't put how much I loved the necklace into words, It was beautiful. It was a gold chain with a few diamonds placed in the middle , and    A rose shaped diamond on either side, surrounding it . "I ... love it . It's lovely I-" I was shocked .
      "I'm so happy you love it !" He exclaimed , looking down on me . I noticed something above him.
     "Is that mistletoe?" I asked , pointing at the green leaves and red berries.
     "I think Millie and Issie put it up, as a joke."
      "Oh yeah, probably." I stared at it. Everything just happened so fast . The next thing I knew, his soft lips met mine and I could smell his scent better than ever . I felt a smile form on my lips against his. We pulled apart after a few seconds and I couldn't help but blush. He smirked and leaned in again, and I didn't have to think twice about what I was doing. We stayed like that for a few seconds until I heard a voice from the other room and we staggered away from each other. Millie walked into the room, smiling. She pointed to the mistletoe .
       "Ah, the first kiss." She smiled and walked away . Louis blushed and we walked back to the family room, all eyes on us . I smiled and went back to sit down next to Issie, and I could feel louis' eyes on me the whole time .
