I opened my phone for the hundredth time today, anxious for a text from Louis. No text . No call. No sign of life. I sighed and turned on Gilmore girls once again. Me and Millie were hanging out because yesterday we didn't get to see each other. (One day after x mas ) . "He still hasn't called?" Millie asked. I had told her Everything that happened. "Nope. And you know what? I don't care!" I responded , confidently . She nodded her head , "Yep! This is a boy free night!" I grinned at her and we turned our focus to the TV. I heard a ring from my phone 20 minutes into the show. "Don't answer it." She said , looking at me . "I'm not going too." I said , putting my phone on silent . We watched gg for 2 more hours until we decided to call it a night , and play some games. We played uno and put on face masks . "Oh my god don't drop it!!!" I laughed , as Millie was struggling to keep on her face mask . "Cheese!" I said , as we took a mirror selfie. "Okay I think you should answer your phone." Millie pointed to the phone . I rolled my eyes and shook my head . "I don't care. I waited for him ALL day and he still hasn't called or texted me ." I scoffed , "do you think he's embarrased?" I asked "Of course not! He obviously likes you!" She sat down on my bed and I sat next to her . "Do you like him?" I thought about it . Did I like him? "I think so." I replied , unsure . "That settles it! Just text him y/n!" She said pushing the phone into my hands . I smiled and turned it on. 23 text notifications , 10 missed calls, and 5 missed facetimes . I showed Millie the phone and she gasped . "He REALLY likes you!" I smirked and went to our texts

I felt so bad . He was probably so worried, and I was being so stubborn that I didn't answer any of his calls or texts . Millie just looked at me , shocked . "He's coming!" She exclaimed . And I realized .. HE WAS COMING . "It's okay, let's just wait. I let him know I'm okay, right?" I answered , sitting back and looking out the window , for any sign of him. I saw a brunette boy walking down the sidewalk and I jumped up and ran to the window. He was walking up the sidewalk and onto the porch . "He's here ! What do I say?" "Just play it cool!" Millie said checking her watch . It was 11:30 pm. I heard steps up the stairs and I quickly sat down next to Millie and we started to talk about Harry Potter. The door swung open and he appeared . "Why didn't you answer any of my texts?" He walked up to me "I-" I started but he interrupted me "My calls, my texts - I thought you were mad at me or something." He stopped and walked up to me , "but you've been with Millie the whole time? " I nodded , "I'm sorry! I had my phone on silent!" I explained but he came up to me and hugged me . I really was sorry, and I didn't want him to be worried "I'm just happy you're okay." . I pulled away as Millie smiled at me and gave me a motivating nod "I think we need to um- talk about some things." I said and I watched him tense up. "Yeah.." he whispered , stepping out of the room and going out into the hallway . I followed after him. What was I even going to say? "So...." he stood there awkwardly . "We kissed yesterday." I said , looking into his brown eyes. "We did ." He studied me , "I liked it." I just stared at him. Uh what was I supposed to say now? "So what now?" I asked. He shifted on spot and I continued, "I mean we kissed twice. And honestly that's- " "I really like you y/n. I've liked you since the day I met you. Since I asked to sit down next to you. You're beautiful. You're funny , smart , kind and the prettiest person I know. I love hanging out with you and I love being in your presence." He blushed and I stared at him, star struck. I couldn't believe that he thought about me like that. He looked so beautiful right there , the moonlight from the window highlighting his features , his sharp jawline , his perfect lips, his hazel eyes , his brunette hair. "I really like you too." I responded smiling at him, he was so tall I had to lift my head up. He beamed and I felt his hands wrap around my waist and his body embracing me . I smelled his familiar scent of warm fire and sugar cookies as he breathed into my neck and I felt my stomach filling up with butterflies. He looked down at me and kissed me once again , as I felt like I was on top of the world . Nothing would ever be better than this moment .
