SORRY IT'S SO SHORT; THESE FIRST CHAPTERS ARE JUST LITTLE GLIMPSES INTO HALLIE'S (PREVIOUSLY OLIVIA) MIND. IT'LL GET BETTER...WAIT IT OUT WITH ME. MUCH MORE TO COME :)

Applause. Standing Ovation.

Every person in the large, the sold out crowd was on their feet.

All but one.

Eight a.m. The sun was higher in the sky. Ms. Gordon - Cooper, Hallie’s mother, would be about to get up, waking early to finish some last minute packing and secure their plans for the move. The flight would be leaving in less than three hours. Hallie sighed. She should start the walk back home, but as she sat on the water’s edge of Lake Red Rock, she felt rooted in place, the water calling her name.

Lost in thought, she traced figure-8s into the sand with her fingers, then signed her name. And when she leaned back to admire her work, she realized the figure-8s looked like the infinity sign. Forever Hallie. She marked her place as if to say, ‘Hallie was here.’ Of course, once the tide came in, the words would be gone. Just like her.

THANKS FOR YOUR PATIENCE. ANY QUESTIONS/SUGGESTIONS/OR YOU JUST WANNA TALK, COMMENT OR TWEET ME! @tjayblue
