The day at Cloud Recesses was about as quiet as any other day. There was no lively chatter as the disciples went to and from their classes. Wei WuXian left the Jingshi in the early afternoon around 11am. Because he had no classes to oversee today, he headed to the back hill where the bunnies were held. As he sat down on the hill and scooped a bunny into his lap, he thought back to the events that had happened a couple of months ago.

Jin Yinmu had been sentenced away in prison for the rest of his life. His son, Jin Fu received a less harsh punishment, forbidden to enter any of the major clan's territory or he'd be killed. All he could really do now was wander as a rogue cultivator. Jin Hong, on the other hand, having been tricked by the enemy kept his place within the clan, but was watched daily by clan officials, and his salary was reduced. Jin Chan worked hard to become one of Jin Ling's most trusted allies within the clan.

During the monthly conference at Jinlin Tai, Jin Ling gave an account to all of the clans of what had happened. They had been shocked that yet another one of Jin Guangshan's unknown sons had caused trouble again. Many cultivators wanted Jin Yinmu to receive a much harsher punishment for not only attempting to overthrow a clan leader but also because he messed around with demonic cultivation. Luckily, they were able to destroy the 'Fu Chou' as it was not something like the Stygian Tiger Amulet or Yin Iron.

After everything had been cleared up, Wen Ning had decided to try and rebuild a residence in CaiYi town. Surprisingly, Liu Yue and Lian Qing were more than happy to accompany him. They lived in their humble home and bought a new, bigger house, which was more spacious when it came to treating their patients.

"Senior Wei!" Wei WuXian turned his head to greet Lan Jingyi who was running towards him.

"How were classes today? Or did you take your monthly exams?"

"We had our exams...it went alright, I guess," Lan Jingyi sighed and reached for one of the bunnies, but they immediately hopped out of reach.

"These bunnies only like you, Hanguang-jun and Sizhui! Not fair!" He grumbled

"That's why you should feed them more, Jingyi," Wei WuXian smiled when he heard his son.

"A-Yuan, how did you do on your exams?"

"I did well. I didn't have trouble with any particular question," Sizhui answered. Jingyi groaned.

"If only I could relate," He reached for the bunny again, but again it scrambled out of his reach. Sizhui laughed and went to pick up a bunny. He stroked it for a while before passing it into Jingyi's arms.

"Next time, I will help you study," Wei WuXian told the young Lan disciple. Jingyi gave him a skeptical look.

"But Senior Wei, do you still remember these kinds of information? How will you help me?"

"Of course I remember!" Wei WuXian insisted, but Jingyi only stared at him further.

"I heard that Senior Wei was a very troublesome student when he was at GuSu. It was enough to give Master Lan qi deviation." Wei WuXian looked away in embarrassment.

"Now who told you such things?"

"It's true, is it not?" A loud voice calls out. Wei WuXian turned to see Jin Ling walking towards them.

"Again, who told you? Don't tell me it was Jiang Cheng," Wei WuXian crossed his arms.

Jin Ling snickers.

"Who else would I ask for embarrassing stories about you, Uncle Wei? And besides you definitely seem like someone who would make trouble!"

"Hey hey, you little brat. I can do the same and ask your Jiujiu about your childhood stories!"
