I walked the outdoor way, I whistled when I was passing the hallways, my eyes widen as I saw, "That boy... A-Akito, is that you?" I ask, he walks over to me, "That's correct," He nods, "W-Well it's very nice to meet you," I give a deep bow, I gulped, why is Akito here at our school? I didn't expect the family head to be so young, my eyes widen, this was the guy who hurt Hatori's eye, "You strike me as quite feminine, gentle too, I'm glad you seem like such a good girl and most importantly you're very cute." He smiles, I shoot back up, "O-oh no! I wouldn't say that, really. I'm quite the opposite in fact, not a single thing about me is gentle... you should see me when I'm riled up," I sweat at the thought when I just threw that chip of eraser at that boy's forehead only moments ago, "Don't get all flustered, I'm just stating the obvious. I'm sorry it took me so long to introduce myself, I'm rather shy when it comes to strangers. I apologise." He smiles, "Oh no, nothing to apologise for, I'm glad we get to meet now." I grin, "Then my formal introduction, I'm Akito Sohma. Head of the family," He gives a shallow bow, "Oh yes! But please, the pleasure's all mine." I give a deep bow, "Now that we've met, I hope we can get along now. Please take care of Yuki, and the others." He looks at me, I was frozen in my place, never, never ever have I had a stare quite so threatening, it felt like he was staring daggers into me, I gulped, "Akito!" We turn, "Ah! Kyo! I was hoping I'd run into you. My boy, it seems like a lifetime's passed since I last saw you. I can't believe how much taller you are, come here." Akito walks over to him, "What did you do? What did you do to Yuki!" He shouts, "Nothing, I was simply paying my respects, isn't that right Yuki, I was just paying my respects." He turns to me, "U-Um yes. That's right," I felt cold sweat, "But Kyo, now that you're here. There is a question that's been weighing on my mind," Akito cups his cheek in his hand, Kyo looked terrified, "What would possibly make you skip New Years. Don't you know how that makes me feel? Especially when I've been so generous to you lately. When you do foolish things like that it really hurts my feelings. I wonder if this means you need a little reeducating. How about some time in your special cell is in order." Akito had a sinister smile on his face, I looked at Kyo, never in my life had I seen him this afraid of anything, "You recall those days, would you like to repeat them? Or do you remember how to be a good boy?" He strokes his lip, Kyo was trembling, I somehow managed to move and I pushed AKito away from him, "Um, I'm sorry, but we need to head to class now. Y-You know, or else we'll be in trouble." I didn't make eye contact, "Of course, I suppose I should be making my way to Shigure and company anyway. They're probably worried, Kyo, I hope you're enjoying your time here at this school, and remember, it would make me happy if you visited. Even if you are the wretched cat." He says, Kyo's eyes widen and he gasps, Akito walked away. Kyo looked up from the ground, his eyes, they were almost feline, his pupils looked like slits, "Hey, did Akito do anything to you before I got here?" He asks, I saw his hand trembling, "I'm fine, promise. Kyo, you're shaking, are you sure you're okay? Is there anything I could do? Honest, I'll do it." I cup his cheek, he puts his hand over mine, "Just to be together, nothing more. Please, I just need you right now." He takes my hand and we go behind a tree, he hugs me and there was a poof of orange, "Do you plan on me missing out on a few lessons," I giggle and pet his chin, "I just want to be with you is all right now." He wraps his tail around my thigh, "I'll give Tohru a text to just say I went to the nurse and you brought me there. That way the two of us can spend time here till lunch," I rub my eyes, "Yeah. I'd like that a lot," He closes his eyes, "Take a nap if you'd like, no one will find us here." I stroke his back.
"Rock, paper, scissors~ And these will be our teams~!" We sing and throw in a sign, "How'd I get roped in?" Kyo grumbles, "It's good to see you back to your old self," I smile and whisper into his ear, he blushes, "And why badmin?" He huffs, "Real men don't complain when they're asked to play sports. You're not the one who has to play the game wearing a mask," Uo says, I signal to Uo, "Don't push his buttons too much today, please. You too Haru, and Yuki." I look at the three of them, "How come?" They ask, "Just please, just one day." I plead, they nod and smile, Yuki's eyes widen in realisation, "Did he?!" He asks, I nod, "Are you okay?" Haru asks, I nod again, "It's Kyo I'm worried about. Akito said something about his old cell, he froze, he looked to be in absolute terror. I've never seen him so scared, so I'm just asking, please, look out for him today." I look back at Kyo as he swishes his racquet around, they nod, "As long as you're the one asking, I'll do anything," Haru puts his head on top of mine, I sigh and snicker, "Come over you three! What are you huddled around for!" Tohru motions for us to come over, we go over to them, "So you're Haru." Hana looks at him, I look up at him with his head stuck on top of mine, "He's gone space cadet, you're not going to get one useful thing out of him," I wave my hand in front of his eyes and he just blankly stares ahead, "So are you two together? Wow you're so cute together!" Tohru squeals, "You better not do anything to our sweet Yuki," Uo glares at him, "Calm down guys. We aren't together at all," I wave my hands, "But then... why did you talk about him kissing you?" They cock their heads, "Oh, this idiot just kisses me. We're in a very serious relationship," I nod up and down firmly, they sweatdrop, "You bastard, did you kiss Yuki for real?" Uo cracks her knuckles, "Yes, if you did. I'll use my waves on you." Hana appears behind him, Haru was still unfazed, Tohru punches him on the back but her punches weren't nothing more than a love tap, "Chill. I won't do anything to my dear Yuki, after all, I couldn't bear truly hurting her." Haru kisses my head, "PISS OF YOU STUPID OX!" Kyo appears from the sky, kicks Haru and snatches me back, "You've done it now stupid." I sweatdrop, "So, we're competing for Yuki's love now," The dust cleared, "Idiot." I whack Kyo's head, "He's awoken Dark Haru." Yuki sighs, I nod and stand next to him, "Dark Haru?" The girls ask, "This idiot's either a space cadet or a serious maniac. No in between," I watch the two boys brawl it out, "Any who! Who cares about those boys! Let's play badminton!" I grab the three girls, Yuki and Momiji, they all smiled, "Yeah!" They nod.
The next day, Yuki and I headed to the secret base to harvest up some of the things we planted that's when I met his older brother, Ayame Sohma, he's the snake zodiac, another one to check off the list! "Hey, are you boys okay, I want to head out for a while and I'm not sure when I'm heading back," I pop into the living room, "No, take all the time you need, I'm sure we're fine. Pardon me for asking but where are you going?" Shigure asks, "Oh, well it's mum's one year so I want to head to the grave," I smile sadly, "Oh, sorry for asking," Shigure says, "No, no. It's fine," I shake my head quickly, "Will it be okay if I come? So I can pay my respects too, if you don't mind the company." Yuki says, "Thank you so much, I'm sure mum will be so happy," I smile, "And Kyo? Surely you don't have anything better to do, you should tag along with them." Shigure says, "Yeah, I'll come," He lays back onto the porch, I looked at him, Kyo seemed off, he wasn't his usual self.
"Say what? The Prince is coming with us? What about Kyon?" Uo was confused, "Yeah, he's coming too," I nod, "Man, just think about it. Nagisa would've had so much fun with him. I'm talking some hardcore tormenting," Uo snickers, I laugh, "Look at this hair carrots! I'm gonna eat you right up!" Uo laughed, I chuckled, "And right when he couldn't take anymore torture, she'd pull him into a bear hug strong enough to pop his back," Tohru snaps her fingers, I thought about it, "Yikes," I mutter under my breath, he'd just transform into a cat, that would be absolutely terrible. "It seems unreal, a whole year's already passed?" Hana says, "I know what you mean, it's like she'll just pop out of no where looking just fine apologising to us and saying that it was some kind of twisted joke." Uo says, "Sorry, we're being a bunch of downers," Tohru hugs me, "I guess it just shows how much of a badass Nagisa was. The legend of the Aurora Fox of route seven will never be forgotten!" Uo clenches her fist, Tohru and I laughed, "I still can't get over it, both your mums, the Crimson Butterfly and the Aurora Fox, they were the leaders of a badass gang, seriously awesome!" Uo cries tears, "That's right," Tohru smiles, I've known Tohru since I could remember, we grew up like sisters, our mums were inseparable, "Yuki!" I heard Momiji's voice, "Momiji!" I grab him before he could crash into me, "Please! You've got to hide me!" He says, "But from what?" I ask, "Classmates! We're playing cops and robbers and I'm a criminal!" He looks up at me, I sigh, "Momiji, seriously, you need to be careful, you almost ran into me and that could've been bad," I scold him, "Hey babe." I saw Haru, I had an ick mark, "You two boys need to seriously pay more attention to your surroundings!" I punch both their heads, "There are one, two, three, four girls here! Stupid!" I slap Haru's face over and over again, he had that space cadet look on his face again, "You really ought to go to Kazuma for some training, your punches and slaps don't hurt one bit. They feel like love taps." He yawns, "Oh shut up," I kick him, "There you two are! There's no use running!" One of their classmates were at the foot of the stairs, "Well boys, you gotta run," I push them both up the stairs, "Those kids, that blond one, I wonder which one of his parents are from Germany," Uo looks up, I thought for a second, now that she mentions it, rarely any of the Sohma's mention anything about their parents, "Whoops! Sorry Yuki!" Momiji hops down almost crashing into me, "Momiji!" I yell after him, "See ya!" Haru kisses me on the cheek as he runs past, "HARU!" I scream and run after them, "Don't make me hug you!" I yelled as I ran after them, "I'd like to see you try!" The two of them stuck their tongues out at me.
