As I squinted my eyes at the hill, that we could see from being this high up in the centre point, you could see a collection of small figures, all walking down the hill."How?" I breathed to Joonie as we caught up to them, as we had paused by the bottom of the temples, seeing them now entering the first set of houses.
"My only guess, is that they new where the entrance is, and knew they had to get the Gods of Chaos to unlock it" he said quietly.
"Then I need to lock it?" I asked.
"I have no idea if you can even do that, it might not even be possible" Joonie replied, glancing at me.
"Hello Pantheon"
The voice echoed around our minds again, and all of us tensed. Tae gripped hold of my hand tighter, as we looked ahead of us at the people moving closer to us at a steady pace.
But one, stood out more than others.
He was still dressed in black, but unlike the others, he didn't have a helmet on, nor held a gun. My heart was starting to beat faster, as my adrenaline started to spread over my body.
Quickly, the sky above us turned to a dark shade of grey. I knew that wasn't my doing.
Jimin's eyes were shimmering as I looked over to him.
Joonie took a deep breath, "protect each other, and Gaia"
"Why don't you just tell us where the source is? Nobody has to get hurt" the deep voice said.
Yoongi scoffed.
"We won't be the ones getting hurt" I breathed out quietly.
"Ah. The only woman, amongst you all has a voice, I see"
That made Tae tense his jaw, as I saw the beginning of the veins around his eyes turn black. I ran my thumb over his knuckles.
Jin gasped next to Joonie, making us all look to him. He was so pale. Hobi put his hand on Jin's shoulder.
"I can feel him in my mind. Like when Erin does it" Jin muttered.
"We know he's a descendant" Joon breathed out, looking at Jin curiously.
"Well it's obvious that you are Athena's descendant" the deep voice said again.
Joon narrowed his eyes, looking down at the line of men that were spreading out now.
"Tell me, which one of you is Zeus's descendant? We have no need to hide it anymore"
Nobody looked at me, while I kept my eyes on the man standing still in the middle of the line, about a hundred yards away from us.
"I'll find out either way" the voice said again, and we could hear the smile in his tone of voice, as it echoed around us.
I pushed into the dark fleck I could see, and then we heard chuckling. The soul was bare. There was nothing there, I felt nothing.
"You can't play me at my own game"
Then I felt it. The pressure. Something was pressing hard against my mind, trying to get me to bend, to let the unwanted presence into my soul.
I rose an eyebrow, and pushed it away mentally.
"There you are"
My heart skipped a beat. I shouldn't have done that, but it was an automatic reaction. Tae took a deep breath in, glancing down to me quickly.
"You seem very young, are you sure can do this?" The voice was so patronising that my top lip curved up in distaste.
"Try me and see" I said, pushing into his mind again.
