I'd really like playing with you!

I slowly opened my eyes, waking up from a dream long forgotten when the sunlight  had hit my eyes. Judging by the annoying sound my phone made it had to be 7:30 am. Oh how I hate school days... Why is waking up early necessary to get a good education?! Can't school just begin a little bit later?!

Well, it can't be helped. I searched my night stand for my glasses, enjoying a not-so-blurry world after putting them on. I finally got up from bed and dragged myself to the bathroom, locking the door behind me. I did normal things there. You know just your everyday bathroom stuff. Some teeth brushing there, some showering here. Much hair styling everywhere.
Just me being busy doing hot guy stuff.

After getting dressed I headed downstairs to finally help myself to some coffe- "Trashykawa! What took you so damn long? We need to head out for school!!" Oh isn't being yelled at by your childhood-best friend the best thing early in the morning? Well spoiler alter! It is not

"Iwa, what are you stressing about. We have time. Just let me grab my coffe and then-"
"Cut that crap! We're heading out"

I watched Iwa-chan stand up from his seat at the dinning table, waiving to my mother and heading for the door. Ok now. If you don't make any noise, you'll be able to make some good black coffee. Just, be quiet!

"Trashykawa! Now!"

I sulked while heading towards the man at the doorway, glaring at my mom for not saying anything. She on the other hand just took a sip of her tea grinning up to me. "Have a lovely day, my dear son!"

The walk to school was mostly silence. It was too early and I wasn't even able to help myself to some coffee. My brain wasn't really functioning...  And well... it was kinda occupied by a certain ginger. So he did came back. And what am I supposed to do now!? Time sure flies by when over-thinking. We walked through the school gates and I immediately headed for the vending machine near the school's entrance, Iwa trailing after me.

"Is something up or why are you all quiet this morning?" Iwa suddenly broke the silence looking down at me while I grabbed my coffee. "Iwa-chan do you actually care about me ?!?" I looked at him wiping a fake tear.

"Tsch you wish, Shittykawa!" He walked ahead to our classroom. I caught up to him and walked silently beside him. Thoughts once again occupied.
"But seriously.. Is everything ok?" Iwa nearly whispered beside me. I turned my face in his direction, before returning my gaze to the corridor in front of me.

"It's fine"

✞ in class ✞

Class was boring as usual. Nothing I didn't already know or couldn't learn in five minutes. I spent the time in between my breaks gazing out of the windows, watching the cherry blossoms fall. It was a day just like this one. Where he gave me the promise... The bell rung indicating the end of the first half of my school day.

"You know if you keep starring out the window you wont be able to hold your perfect grades, Oikawa-san" I turned my head to find Mika Hasegawa smiling at me, slightly leaning in my direction. She was a beautiful girl no question. Black long slightly waved hair, a face that doesn't need any make up and... well... other regions that definitely don't need any help. But she isn't Shōyō.

"Don't worry Mika-san. It's called multitasking" I winked at her, immediately regretting doing so, when I noticed the light blush on her cheeks. Way to go, you jerk!

"Oh well... I was wondering, Oikawa-san, if you maybe wan-"
"Oikawa, are you coming? Iwaizumi and Mattsun are waiting!"
"Yea wait a sec. I'm coming" I turned my attention back to the girl in front of me. "Sorry. What did you want to say?"
"Never mind, it's nothing important. Have fun with your friends, Oikawa-san"
"Ok then. See you later, Mika-chan!" I stood up and jogged to my friend waiting at the door.

"I just saved your ass! You owe me ramen"

You know what scratch that friend part...
