Dabi X Hawks X Reader (Poly! Story)

Chapter five

We moved Dabi to his room and Keigo and I sat with him the rest of the day. Once night came we decided one of us would stay with him and I chose to take first shift. I'd stay with him until 2 am and then Keigo would stay with him until 9 and then he'd be able to take a nap. Nothing much happened during my shift except I changed his blood bag again, and His heart rate went back to normal giving me the hope I desperately needed.

Keigo came back at about 2:10, and we went to my room to sleep, although hesitantly. It was about 5 AM when Keigo came bursting into my room "Y/N, Y/N! HE'S MOVING!" I darted upright and jumped out of bed stumbling for a second before sprinting past Keigo. i ran into Dabi's open room and saw him moving to an upright position. "ow! Fuck!" Dabi exclaimed. I smiled wide. "Oh thank the gods." I said. "What? was i out that long?" Dabi asked. "only like 18 hours." I said with a giggle. Keigo walked into the room a second later. "You scared the shit out of us!" Keigo exclaimed. "Hey, I'm alive aren't I?" He said. I rolled my eyes "Yeah you are.. Thanks to me you ass. you nearly bled out." I said "Shit really? damn it Endeavor." Dabi said anger creeping into his voice. "Hey calm down." Keigo said. Dabi looked at him "I don't take orders from birds, or bottoms, that's one and a half points off your opinion right there." I laughed "Hah! he's got you there." Keigo chuckled "damn verbally pin me against the wall harder." Keigo teased. Dabi rolled his eyes leaned against the pillows.

"Well, I don't know if I'll be able to sleep because I'm so happy you aren't dead, but, I'm absolutely beat so I'm going back to bed. I spent 15 hours by your side so don't even try to complain." I said giggling "goodnight little mouse." Dabi said, Keigo said something about going to bed too and I followed me out of the room going the other way as me to his room.

the next morning I went to the kitchen getting myself come cereal. as i poured the mill Dabi walked in with carrying the now empty blood bag. "Can you take this damn IV out now?" He said. I smiled, "Of course." I removed the IV and took the supplies from him throwing them away. I sat at the small table in the kitchen eating me food. Dabi sat next to me. "Listen, Shigi told me what happened yesterday." He said. "What do you- Oh.." I said. He smiled. "Just so you know, It was my idea to go alone." Dabi said. My eyes widened and I nearly choked on the food in my mouth. "It was what? Baby you said yourself you aren't strong enough yet to go against him alone." I said softly. "Yeah but this was my battle Y/N, not anyone else's." I frowned. He was partially right. "Dabi, How would you feel if you were in my shoes? Imagine I almost fucking died and then told you it was my own battle, what would you say?" He thought for a moment "well you're battles are my battles, we're- Oh damn it you have a point." Dabi said. I rolled my eyes at him "Yeah. I do." I said getting up to wash my now empty bowl.

He wrapped his arms around my waist. "I'll try to be more.. considerate of you in the future." he said realizing how much he had upset me.

We went to the bar where all of our spare time was spent "alright debriefing time, Dabi what happened out there?" Shigi said. "Well, Endeavor is still alive obviously. but he's not in great shape. the only reason he got away is because he shoved me off the roof, Kirigiri cought me luckily. I got some serious damage in but i don't know if he's even been hospitalized. I defiantly lost to him again, as much as I hate to say that." I frowned and Shigi just nodded "We'll keep an eye on the news, see what they have to say." He said. after they finished talking Shigi turned back to his drink. "Shigi..." I said softly. he turned to face me with an annoyed look. "I overreacted yesterday, I'm sorry." He sighed "Just don't let it happen again." He said turning away from me.

The rest of the day was pretty uneventful, most of it being spent watching the news. I eventually got bored and went to bed early, since yesterday was so draining. My dreams that night were nightmere after nightmere, but they weren't too bad luckly. I made it through the nice, although my sleep was very broken.
