I kept a close eye on Dabi's wounds while we watched to news for updates the next few days. Endeavor was hospitalized, and for the first few days he was in critical condition but it looked like he was going to pull through and be fine within a few weeks. We thought about sneaking into the hospital, but decided overall it would be to risky. He was under 24/7 servailance by multiple pros and nurses, so it wasnt the best idea we'd ever had by a long shot.

Eventually we went back to normal life. Shigi was still obsessing over the news when he wasnt playing video games, but what's new?

It was Saturday morning and I awoke after another night of bad dreams. They had been getting worse every night. PTSD's a bitch I guess. I had managed to sleep though most of the night though, so I coloured myself lucky and got up to get dressed. I threw on one of my clasic cute but comfortable outfits, slipped on my slippers, and headed for the kitchen.

Keigo was standing at the griddle singing "bacon pancakes makin' bacon pancakes!" I giggled "make some for me!" I exclaimed noticing the missing box of cereal. He chuckled "hey baby bird, you're up early." I smiled "yeah I couldnt get back to sleep after the last nightmere I had. He finished flipping over the pancakes and turned around "What was it about? If you want to talk about it."

I thought for a moment "Can I just have a hug?" I said softly. Keigo met me half way through the kitchen wrapping me up in his arms and gently kissing the top of my head. "Are you alright love?" He asked. "Yeah. Just.. Its alot." I said softly. He nodded and let go going back to the pancakes. He made 4, which was the perfect amount for the two of us. We ate slowly chatting about our childhood. We finally had a chance to actually catch up.

I reached for the glass of orange juice picking it up, but since I had just woken up about half an hour ago, my hands were still weak. The glass fell out of my hand spilling onto Keigo's last few bites of foom, and his lap. My eyes widened "I- I'm so sorry! I- Uh- I'll be right back! Pl-Please dont tell at me." I stuttered out as I ran to get some paper towel. Keigo stood quickly following me to the paper towel dispenser. He grabbed my shaking hands from behind me as gently as possible and pulled me into him softly.

"You've been dreaming about your parents havent you?" He asked. I nodded into his chest where I had buried my face. "Shhh... Baby, I will never and I mean ever yell at you for making a simple mistake. I know you know that, but I just want to remind you." He said quietly. After folding me for another minute he helped me clean up the mess then went to take a shower and change.

I eventually calmed down, but my mood didnt improve. I went to the bar and saw that Kirigiri was the only one there. "Wh-where is everyone?" I asked. "Shigaraki is playing games. Toga's on the phone, Twice and Dabi are both still asleep." I nodded "thanks for the update. Would you mind making me a drink? Something strong I dont care what." He hummed an "mhmm" and started making me a sex on the beach with double of all the alchohol. I sat on one of the stools and thankfully took the glass "thank you." I said softly. Now I know I know, drinking doesnt solve your problems, but if Shigi does it, why cant I sometimes?

I had downed about 3/4ths of my drink when Keigo came I to the room. "Isnt it a little early to be drinking my love?" He asked. I forced myself to smile. "I guess." I said weakly. It immediately clicked in his mind what was going on. "Finish your drink. Then come with me." He said. I chugged the rest of the liquid and kirigiri took the glass. I thanked him again and started following Keigo.

He led me to his room and said "stay here. I'll be right back." About three minutes later He was back with water bottles, a bag of microwave popcorn, and a bag of gummy bears. He set it all down on his nightstand and grabbed his laptop. He climbed into bed next to me and opened up the laptop. "Alright, disney plus, and time for a marathon." I giggled softly. "You dont have to do this babe." I said. "Listen love. I know. But I want to. Your battles are my battles, just like you said about Dabi." I smiled "thank you." I said.

We spent the majority of the day watching Disney movies until I was laughing and smiling. Eventually though, my eyes were hurting from staring at a screen, so I closed my eyes while snuggled into Keigo's chest. I drifted off into sleep and when I awoke in dreamland, I was in a nightmere.

I walked into my parents shared room looking for my mother, i didnt see anyone but decided to look around. "Mommy? Are you hiding?" I called out in my young voice. I was seven and a half, and though my mom was just trying to play a game. I walked around the edge of the bed, expecting her to stump out and say boo, but what I saw was much more terrifying. The only self inflicted scars on my mother's legs were wide open, and she was covered in her own blood. There were cuts on her arms now too. I wasn't even sure  what I was looking at at first, until it clicked. This was my mom, the woman who brought me into this world, my saving grace when dad started screaming, the woman who would let him hit her so he didn't hit me. I tried to speak but there were no words in my tiny skull. I continued to notice every detail of my now deceased mother. Her usually beautiful hair was matted with blood, her face was still bruised from when dad hit her last night, and her eyes were still open. I had always thought your eyes closed when you died, but even though I was young there wasn't a doubt in my mind she was dead.

Even so when the words finally came, all I could think to say was "mommy! Mommy stop playing! I don't like this game!" Tears had already been streaming down my face for awhile but I hadn't noticed. I fell to my knees into the puddle of blood, and put my hands on my mother's stomach. "Mommy wake up! Please don't leave me!" I cried out.

And that's when I woke up. I was about 16, and my father slammed my door open. "Get up you brat." He screamed grabbing my arm and ripping me out of bed. He pulled me down the hall, and into the Livingroom. "Care to tell me why there's a stain on my white carpet?" I looked down at the stain that had been there for years. "Father that's been there..." he threw me to the floor. "Well I don't care how long it's been there you little shit. Scrub it until its clean. I don't care if your hands bleed, I want it clean before I get home from work. Oh and if you do bleed don't do it on my carpet like your waste of space mother. Understood?"

I felt anger boil in my stomach but bit my tongue not wanting to get hit. He grabbed me by the hair pulling me to my feet. "I SAID UNDERSTOOD?" He shouted into my face. I nodded and he shoved me down onto the couch. "Get to work." He said turning around to finish getting ready for work. I got the chemicals and started scrubbing the carpet when suddenly "Y/N. Get over here now." Was heard from my father. Fuck what did I do?

I walked into the front area of the house and saw that the shoes weren't properly put away. "Sorry Father I'll fix it right now!" I said softly. Rushing over to put away the shoes. He went I to the bathroom to do the last few things before he was ready to leave and started shouting as he walked over to me with something in his hand. I started instinctively backing away until I hit the door. "You have thirty second to tell me why I found THIS in the garbage can." He held up a negative pregnancy test. "Th-That's not mine!" I said. "You expect me to believe that your step mother lied about being pregnant?" He shouted as he stopped right in front of me. "I didn't say that.. I just said it's not mine!" I said tears rolling down my face. "You lying whore." He said dropping the test to the floor and wrapping his hand around my throat. "Please dad. Let go." I choked out. He slammed my head into the door. "Don't." He slammed my head into the door again. "Ever." Again. "Lie to me." And one final time. "Again." He said

I bolted upright screaming "Please stop! You're gonna kill me!" I looked around to see Keigo who had been holding me. My cheeks were wet with tears, and the sight of my mother was imprinted on the inside of my eyelids. "Y/N? Are you actually awake now?" He asked. "Yeah..." I tried to say but it was more of a whisper. "Thank god. I tried to wake you up but it just seemed to make it worse. When I tried to wake you up you started crying harder and thrashing around.."

I laid back down into his arms. "Please hold me." I said softly. Of course, he did. "I'll hold you as long as you need." He said. Eventually he fell asleep holding me. I smiled and got up putting away the laptop and discarding the empty food and drink containers. I went to leave but heard "Wait no come back." I assumed he was sleep talking but looked back anyway. Keigo was laying there with his eyes open and arms outstretched "I was heading to bed babe." I said softly. "Sleep in here tonight." He said. He was clearly worried about me, so I climbed back into bed and under the covers. Drifting off in Keigo's arms yet again.
