*There are some things implying sex at the end, but nothing 18+ of course!*
Teruhashi held him there, though he wasn't resisting. Her arm was pressed against his back, and her hand slipped from his cheek and to her side, which then gripped Saiki's palm. Saiki felt a rush of emotions, but this time it was far more clear. He was happy, happier than he'd ever been. Before his mind could process what he wanted to do, Kokomi disconnected from him. She pulled her arm from his back and was about to take her fingers from his hand, but Saiki tightened his grasp. He took a moment to look into her eyes, but soon released his gaze and took his hand back. He wanted to live in this moment forever, and just look at her for eternity, but he knew there would have to be a conversation to follow. So he started it.
"Kokomi.. I know it's a little late for this.." He chuckled awkwardly before he could finish. "But.. I really like you. I can't even think of you, let alone look at you without feeling sick. I don't know if this makes sense, but it's the good kind of sick.. like how you feel when you surge on a rollercoaster. I know I've changed, for better or for worse, since I've told everyone about my powers being taken away, but that's actually the reason that now I understand why everyone loves you."
"Not everyone loves me, Saiki. They just love the way I look. I know that you love me though, since you know how I really think. I mean.. with your physic powers and all. And trust me, you've changed for the better. I really like you, too.
Saiki's heart skipped a beat when she said this. He thought she only liked him because he didn't like her back before, but really she liked him because he was the only one who really knew who she really was.
He started laughing , quietly at first. He put his hands on his knees and wheezed, only laughing louder after that. He fell to the ground, gasping for air as he continued maniacally. He could barely lift his head up, and tears were forming in his eyes. Teruhashi was confused, but his laugh was so intense and real that she started giggling, too. After a solid minute of hysterical laughter, Saiki broke with a well-deserved scream. Both of them were breathing too hard to stand, so they stayed put on the blacktop. Saiki pulled himself over and leaned his back against the wall on the side of the school, and Teruhashi joined him. Still catching his breath, Kusuo said;
"I.. I needed that."
Kokomi leaned up a little and stretched, then replied;
"Me too."
A comfortable silence came across them, but Teruhashi flinched a bit when Saiki rested his hand on her's. Interrupting the peace, Saiki offered to let Kokomi stay at his house.
"Oh um, are you sure your parents won't be mad?"
"They'll be annoying, but no. Not mad."
She giggled at his reply. He wasn't trying to be funny, but it felt good to make her happy. He stood up and stretched his arms before bending down and offering his hand to Teruhashi. She took it and rose off the ground, and using the boost from Saiki she pulled him into a hug. He stiffened up, since he didn't like hugs most of the time, but released the tension in his muscles when he remembered who he was hugging. They split from each other at the same time, no one pulled away first. Their hands linked, they made their way over to Saiki's house.
When they came in the door, Kusuo scanned the area. After a few minutes of searching, he came to the conclusion that no one was home. He didn't want to admit it, but he was strangely exited by this. He was awkward, but not uncomfortable to be around as he sat on the sofa. Teruhashi let her guard down knowing that they were alone, and acted her truly playful self. She fell onto Saiki gracefully, laying on his thighs. He was sweating a little and blushed, but tried not to tense up. She seemed content, and he did not want to disturb her. He reached for the remote and turned on the TV, which unfortunately only aired news and updates about the bomb and the super volcano. He tried to relax, but the News was just so depressing and intense that he couldn't. He switched it off, and a wave of silence came across the room. Kusuo got chills at the eeriness of it, so using all of his strength, he lifted Teruhashi, who had somehow dosed off listening to the TV station. Not knowing where else to place her, he decided to take her into his room. He struggled up the stairs, his legs already hurt from the walk home. He focused all of his power into his legs, pounding with every step. He made it to the top, and sped over to his mattress where he gently put her down. He turned to go back down, but was yanked back by something tugging at his tux. Cautiously he looked behind him, only to find that his girlfriend was awake.
"Y'know, you breathe really loud." She said jokingly, but still with a hint of agitation in her voice.
Saiki rolled his eyes, even though he wasn't smiling Teruhashi knew he wanted to laugh.
Suddenly, it went quiet. Too quiet. Both of them knew the other wanted something, but they just couldn't conjure up what to say. Slowly, Kokomi stood up and off of his bed, and creeped toward him. Saiki got flustered again, expecting another hug or kiss. But instead, she moved behind him. He was puzzled, but soon he understood when she locked the closed door in back of him. He threw his suit on the ground, and couldn't hide his smug grin as he ripped off his white polo and undid his belt.
