Chapter Two: Meeting Buddnel

The Next Day

It was now morning as Spinel was in bed still asleep. Today wasn't going to be a day like any other day, this day was going to be different. A knock suddenly wakes Spinel up from her slumber. Spinel yawns and gets up before stretching and getting out of bed.

Spinel: Alright, I'm coming! I'm coming! *Walks to the door and opens it*

Nobody was there. Spinel looked confused before she closed the door before going back to bed. A knock started coming from the door again, but this time familiar quiet laughter can be heard.

Spinel walks to the door again and opens it. Nobody was there again, that is until Amethyst jumped from above the door and surprise tackles Spinel to the ground. Spinel yelps in surprise as she fell to the ground.

Amethyst: Surprise! Remember me?

Spinel: Y-yeah, of course I do...! You're one of Steven's friends Amethyst...!

Amethyst: I surprised ya there didn't I Spinel? *Laughs and gets off of Spinel* You should've seen the look on your face! *Laughs more*

Spinel: *Chuckles and gets up* Ok you got me there Amethyst. I have to admit, that was pretty good.

Amethyst: Anyways I came here because Steven has a new gem arrival! Although this new gem isn't planning on going to Little Homeworld, but hey that means he's independent! So we were wondering if you want to meet him? Pink Pearl is coming too.

Spinel: Of course! Let's gooooooooo!

Amethyst takes Spinel and Pink Pearl to earth. Everyone was having a party at the beach since the weather was nice enough to do so.

Steven Universe: *Sees Amethyst* Hey Amethyst!

Amethyst: Hey dude! I brought Pink Pearl and Spinel!

Steven Universe: *Sees Pink Pearl and Spinel* Hey Pink Pearl and Spinel!

Spinel: *Smiles and waves with both hands* Steven!

Pink Pearl: *Waves* Hello!

Steven Universe: How are you Pink Pearl?

Pink Pearl: *Smiles* I've been good!

Steven Universe: *Turns to Spinel* Spinel how are you since... Uh...

Spinel: Yeah, sorry about what happened before! I was just a WRECK back then, but I am SO much better now!

Steven Universe: It's alright!

Pearl: Steven, we need help with getting a new cake! The new arrival got inpatient and ate the whole thing while we weren't looking!

Garnet: I should've seen it coming. ;-;

Steven Universe: Coming! *Turns to Pink Pearl and Spinel* I'll be right back! *Rushes to Pearl*

Amethyst: Shoot! I wished I saw that!

In the corner of Spinel's eyes she could see a strange looking blue gem in the distance sitting down with his back against a rock groaning in pain while holding his stomach. Spinel decided to check on this gem so she walks to him.

Spinel: Hey buddy, you ok there?

Upon closer look the strange blue gem has frosting on his face and the corners of his mouth and cake crumbs on his shirt. This strange blue gem is the new arrival that ate the whole cake behind everyone's back. Spinel decided to help the new arrival up.

??? (Strange blue gem): *Widens his eyes in pain* Autsch...! [Translation: Ouch...!] Hey, be careful...! My stomach hurts...!

Spinel: Oh! Sorry!
