A week later

It's been a week now and Buddnel is almost done building Spinel's house. Spinel was helping Buddnel as he finishes... The first floor of Spinel's house. I lied about Buddnel finishing Spinel's house. Buddnel wipes the sweat off his forehead with his right ear.

Buddnel: Welp, that's the first floor!

Spinel: That was a lot of work!

Buddnel: Yep! How about we take a break?

Spinel: Agreed!

Buddnel: I'm going to take a nap. *Passes out* Zzz...

Spinel smiles and giggles at this until her phone starts going off. Buddnel groans, but stays asleep as he uses his tail as a blanket and one of his ears as a pillow. Spinel looks at her phone before quickly answering it. Pearl was calling Spinel.

Pearl (On the phone): Hey Spinel.

Spinel (On the phone): Oh hey Pearl, what's up?

Pearl (On the phone): Nothing much! Just wanted to know if you wanted to hangout with me, Amethyst, and Connie today.

Spinel: *Smiles* Sure! Why not?

Pearl (On the phone): Great! We're above you!

Spinel (On the phone): *Smiles* Alright!

Amethyst (On the phone): No, we're being serious. We're actually above you right now. Look up!

Spinel looked confused, but looked up to see that Pearl, Amethyst, and Connie were braking the laws of physics and floating above a few feet above her soon to be house and her.

Spinel (On the phone): How are you floating???

Amethyst (On the phone): We're not floating. We're behind you.

Spinel (On the phone): *Looks behind herself* Hm? •-•

Amethyst (On the phone): *Is now all of the sudden behind Spinel with Pearl and Connie* Hi.

Spinel: *Hangs up* How!? You three were JUST above me!

Connie: Hi Spinel!

Spinel: Hi Connie!

Connie: Ready to hang out?

Spinel: *Smiles and nods* Yeah!

Amethyst, Pearl, and Connie started having fun with Spinel as they hung out with her at Fun Land and at the beach. Spinel was having the most fun she had in years since she started living on Homeworld and since she moved to Earth.

Spinel: Wow! I'm having so much fun right now!

Amethyst: *Smiles* Me too, *laughs* but how come you've been blushing every time we see the ocean every time we get on the ferris wheel? Got a crush on someone?

Spinel: Oh...! *Blushes* I-I might...

Pearl: Oooh! Who is it?

Amethyst: Maybe.

Connie: *Flicks Amethyst's nose* Hey!

Amethyst: Fine, we won't judge...

Spinel: It's... *Blushes* Buddnel...

Amethyst: You mean the sea pig? *Gets punched in the face by Connie* Ow! What did I say!?

Connie: *Turns to Spinel* That's amazing!

Pearl: That's so cute! *Turns to Amethyst and whispers* "The sea pig"? Really Amethyst!? How could you say that!?
