Bakugo x OC (A Guardian Angel)

UA Sports Festival

~~3rd person~~

Luna spent the rest of that week training as hard as she could with Izuku after school, since Kirishima had already agreed to work with Bakugou. The training helped keep her distracted from her thoughts, which was probably for the best. Her medication wasn't helping as much these days with keeping the depression and nightmares away. Her therapist claimed it was due to stress and she hoped she was right.

The days all became the same. She came in and spoke to Kirishima, waved at Mina, and completely ignored Bakugou. The first two days it didn't bother him. She wanna ignore someone? Fine, why should he care about some extra. But then she started bringing in cookies and other baked food again. Sharing them with everyone else around him. He didn't even like sweets but the smell of cinnamon in hers made his mouth water.

Then at lunch she disappeared every day; No one knew about her new lunch spot on the roof with Shinsou. It felt nice to have someone in her life who finally seemed to get her. The more the two of them hung out the more she learned about him as well, including his quirk. He wouldn't give away how it activated, but he did explain that it was basically mind control. It was pretty obvious to Luna it bothered him to talk about it too much though, so after assuring him how much his quirk didn't bother her, she changed the subject.

After lunch they would always walk back to class together. Shinsou was of course much quieter than her, but he seemed to enjoy listening to her random babble. One of those days as she entered the class and told him bye, she turned to see Bakugou glaring them down.

Rolling her eyes, she went and sat in her desk. Waiting for class to start. "Hey dumbass, what's with you and the extra that's been following you around lately?" She kept her eyes focused in front of her and ignored him. "Tch. What you're still going to keep on with this ignoring me bullshit? Jokes on you, you fucking loser. It doesn't bother me one bit, so why not just drop it." Again, she ignored him. Luna knew it was kind of childish, especially since it's not like he knew the situation to begin with, but still. Common sense would've told him it was obviously a sensitive subject. And considering it was the most the two had ever interacted, no way was he just being a concerned friend. No that was him being an ass, Luna was sure of it.

Standing in formation with the rest of her class, Luna felt her anxiety spike. The stadium around all of her was completely full of cheering spectators. The day of the Sports Festival had finally arrived and it was time to see if all her training paid off. She really wasn't paying attention to Present Mic's commentary, more focused on just being ready to get on with things.

Up on the stage in front of everyone stepped Miss Midnight. She was one of their teachers all semester, and Luna actually really liked her and even though she wouldn't admit it, she looked up to her. Her skills at seduction made everyone around her putty in her hands. Up on the stage it was clear her excitement at learning she would be chief umpire for the festival hadn't fully worn off. She was even more animated than normal when she spoke, giving a small talk on the games.

"Now for the introductory speech!" She announced, and around Luna all the boys were blushing. "Someone should talk to Miss Midnight about what she's wearing." She heard Kirishima say. "Yea that costume should come with a warning." Denki replied. Mineta seemed to be the only one into it, the little perv. He creeped Luna out so much.

"Silence everyone!" Midnight commanded. "Now for the student pledge we have, Katsuki Bakugo!" Around her everyone looked shocked while she just scowled. 'Why are they surprised? That asshole is first in the class after all.'

Bakugo sauntered up to the mic and took a deep breath. "I just wanna say, I'm gonna win." As everyone around her erupted in anger Luna couldn't stop herself from laughing at his confidence. He really couldn't help himself it seemed.
