Lying in bed thinking about the events of the day, Luna stared up at her ceiling. Turned out Aizawa was just bluffing about expelling everyone. Kind of a dick move but ok, whatever. She did get to see her class rankings though. Unfortunately, she was down at the bottom with Midoriya. The rest of the day had been pretty uneventful. She had eaten lunch with Kirishima and his little group and decided that she honestly really liked the redhead. He was so kind and sweet. But hanging out with them also meant she somehow ended up hanging out with Kacchan. Katsuki Bakugou, turns out even assholes have actual names these days, and gods he was even more hot-headed than she first thought. He yelled constantly, and Luna wondered if he knew how to smile at all. Once or twice, she caught him or Midoriya just watching her. Each time though they would turn away and pretend nothing happened. It was kinda unnerving.

She sighed as she rolled over and stretched. *DING* *DING* Confused she went to grab her phone to see who was texting only to cringe when She saw it was Midoriya. Opening the messages, they read:

Luna? Are you still awake?

I really need to talk to you. I wanna explain things.

She stared at the phone wondering if she should reply when another message came through.

You don't have to reply, but I want to fully explain myself and apologize in person.

So if you're willing to hear me out, then, please...

Please come to the park.

She looked at the time and groaned. It was like 9 pm Midoriya, what the fuck? But her body seemed to move on its own as she got up anyway and threw on her red hoodie. She had no idea why she was going, what could he possibly say to fix things? But maybe some part of her just held out hope that things could go back to how they were. Slipping on her shoes, she stepped out into the night.

Walking into the park and she made a beeline for where she was sure Izuku would be. It was a secluded space further in, surrounded by trees and not visible to people walking by. It had been their secret space since they were kids. Walking through the trees the nostalgia hit like a brick, and she felt tears well up in her eyes. Yea this was their place, just the two of them.

Entering the clearing her eyes landed on Midoriya just like she expected. Standing there, looking anxious and adorable. Gods Luna swore he looked like a little puppy, of course, she would never tell him that. "Alright, I'm here. Talk." She said with more venom than intended, damn maybe she was still pretty hurt. Regardless he nodded and started explaining his quirk.

"So let me get this straight, you really were quirkless, and this quirk was literally given to you by someone. But you can't tell me who that someone is or else it would be breaking the promise you made them?" Luna asked Izuku as he finished talking.

He nodded his head, "Yea, I'm sorry. I hate keeping secrets from you, but if I tell you much more I'm sure you'll be able to figure it all out. But I'm telling you what I can because I miss my friend. I've been worried about you ever since our fight. I know how much you hate being alone, and its killed me inside knowing I couldn't do anything because you were so mad."

There it was. Typical Izuku. Always worrying about those around him. Luna smiled and looked down. "Well I suppose at least it's some sort of explanation at least, still it doesn't make much sense. A quirk was given to you? I didn't think that was even possible."

"Me either, but apparently it is. Luna, please say you believe me. And that we can be friends again. This whole not talking to each other thing is kinda painful to deal with. I really miss you."
