Today is my birthday, Tommy. I'm turning 17 finally. Where are you? It's bothersome, the fact you're gone. Did you really jump off of the tower? Why did you, if you did.
Why am I even writing this? But, if you did jump, where would you have landed? Wouldn't you be dead, on the ground, say you had jumped? I believe you jumped, but I can't understand where you would lie if you had. I wonder if you had built up and pondered jumping, but didn't?
I wish you had at least written to me beforehand. I wonder if you built and jumped safely into the ocean below. Had you run away? Why is Logstedshire blown to pieces? I came to visit one day and it was in ruins. I'm sorry if I was a bit harsh in my last letter. Is that the reason you haven't written back?
I wish I never exiled you. I never thought about how horrible you'd feel or the way no one would even visit you. I tried to visit you when I could. But something always came up and I ended up busy. I'm terribly sorry, Tommy.
Dream tells me he thinks you did jump. I don't want to ever think about that. Did you? Are you gone? L'manburg is safe and sound. I just wish I could have you back here. Remember when we used to sit on the bench and watch the sunset?
And we would listen to a music disc of yours. I miss that. I still go sit on the bench and watch the sunset. I wonder if you're watching the sunset too. Where are you? The burden of this thought has not left my mind. I can't just move on to forget about you. Where could you have possibly run off to?
