Say You'll Stay? (A Ross Lynch fanfic)

Chapter 4

i snatched the phone out of her hand and stared at it. he had text:

hey x

i felt my heart beat out of my chest. i cant believe he actually text me! what do i reply with? when do i reply? i dont want to sound pushy?! He put kisses at the end, what does that mean? does he like me? do i even like him?

i must have been staring at the screen for some time as i suddenly saw a hand being waved right in front of my face

"kaite...katie...KATIE!" she screamed, and i finally came out of my daze. "what are you going to reply with?" she questioned

" i don't know?! what do you think?" i asked

"just put hey?" she said

"but what if i sound really stupid? and so i put kisses? how many? oh my gosh what do i do?!" i asked getting all freaked out

"just give me the phone i'll do it!" rosie said reaching for my phone. i stuck the phone higher in the air.

"NOOO! knowing you you will probrably embarras me and he will never talk to me again!" i said,

"i promise i wont just give me the phone!" she said reaching for the phone, i moved it further away. "c'mon katie! givvveee itt!" she pleaded, i shook my head.

"NO!" i shouted. and she jumped on me and we both fell off by bed and onto the floor with a loud bang. we both stareted laughing our heads off when we heard footsteps and someone running up the stairs.

"WHATS GOING ON?! ARE YOU ALRIGHT?" my mum screamed! she must have heard the bang and though something had happened.

"yes mum we are fine! just fell off the bed!" i said standing up and helped Rosie back up as well.

"well ok then... you girls have fun now, but don't eat to much or you'll be sick!" she said and walked back downstairs.

i picked my phone up off the floor and unlocked it.

"oh my god..." i said staring at the screen again.

"what? WHAT?!" Rosie yelled at me. i put the phone right in front of her face "omg" she whispered.

whilst me and Rosie were fighting over my phone we must have been randomly pressing buttons because i had sent Ross a meaaage saying

-asdfghjklpoutfsgsdfgfgnkjhgdufrgaewurfyhawigrjeraghkjr-

"oh my gosh Roise he is gonna think im some kind of weirdo" i said freaking out again

"just...just send him another text saying that was an accident or something?" Rosie said

"okokok good idea" i said and quickly started typing

oh my gosh sorry didn't mean to put-

but before i could finish typing, my phone buzzed and Ross had replied...

-asdfghjklpoutfsgsdfgfgnkjhgdufrg to you too! ahaha :P -

i replied with

-ooops sorry didn't mean to put that! haha x-

"there, think i sorted everything" i said to Rosie

"goooood! now can we please finish watching the film?!!" she whined.

"but what if Ross text me?" i asked

"then he will just have to wait!" she said folding her arms and stomping her foot like an angry 2 year old

"bu-"

"NO! its the best biiit!" she interupted, i rolled my eyes i knew she wasnt gonna back down. So i put my phone down on my bed side table and sat back to watch the rest of the film.

By the time the film was finnished and we had watched all the behind the scenes and deleted scenes it was 9:30 pm and rosie was snoring, fast asleep on my leg. i pushed her off so her head was on her pillow.

i was about to turn off the lamp on my bedside table and go to sleep when, i saw that i had a message on my phone. i unlcoked my phone to see that i had 4 unread messages from Ross!

-haha soo whats up?-

-im just at home, chilling with my borthers and sister how b'out you?-

-Katie? you there?-

-helllooooo...?-

the first one was sent at half 6 and its half 9 now! omg he must think im ignoring him! i quickly text back

-yeah im here! sorry was watching a film with Rosie and lost track of time. so whats up?-

i waited a few minutes and then got a reply

-oh ok, thought you might have been ignoring me:( i was just about to go to bed you?-

i replied with:

-how can i ignore you?! :D i'm  just about to go to bed as well! talk to you tomorrow maybe? x-

i didn't really want to end the convosation there but i was so tired.

-or we could meet up? if you want? Rosie could come as well, and i'll bring riker?-

oh my gosh! is that him asking me out? i though about whether i should go or not but then i though, for Rosie's sake, i should at least give it a try!

-yeah sounds cool! where do you wanna meet? and what time?-

he replied with:

- around 12 at get shaved? because i know you love them so much! haha x-

i was hoping he would say get shaved! i deffinatly need another one! and it gives me a chance to show him that i don't always make a fool of myself!

-sounds good! i promise not to cover you in my get shaved again though! haha x-

he replied with:

-its a date! see you tomorrow! :D xx-

I locked my phone and placed it back on my table. what did Ros mean by its a date? is it just someyhing boys say? does he actually mean its a date? alll these thoughts ran through my head as i drifted to sleep......

A/N so i decided to update quite soon because i didn't update in ages and i probrably wont be able to update again until after christmas as it can be quite a busy time!
