Say You'll Stay? (A Ross Lynch fanfic)

Chapter 6

Ross' POV

"Rossssyyy wakey wakey" I heard someone say and I slowly opened my eyes and saw Rydel standing at my door. I picked up my phone and turned the screen on, squinting at the light, 6:35 AM! I hate getting up so early

"uggh 5 more minutes" I said rolling over and pulling my pillow over my head

"come on Ross get up we are already running late" I hear my dad shout from down the hall

"fine, fine I'm up" I say sliding out of bed

"breakfast in 10" said my dad as he walked past my room.

I walked to the bathroom and had a quick shower to wake me up. when I was finished in the shower I went back into my room and went to my wardrobe. I chose dark blue jeans and a pale blue Hollister t-shirt. when I was changed I picked up my phone and checked the time, 6:45 , I shoved my phone in my jean pocket and walked downstairs.

When I got downstairs I saw everyone but Riker and dad, they were probably setting up in the basement, sat around the table eating toast or cereal, trust me to be the last ready.

I sat down and my mum handed me some toast.

"thanks mum" I said sleepily and started to eat the toast

"Ross where is your blue hoodie? it needs washing" asked my mum

"its in my r-" I stared, but I quickly remembered that I let Katie keep it, Katie... her perfect brown hair that falls perfectly on her shoulders, her beautiful blue eyes... I must have fallen into a daydream because when I finally shook out of it everyone was staring at me

"Ross..." said my mum "are you alright sweetheart? you just stopped mid-sentence" I started blushing like crazy

"oh yeah I was just remembering something" I quickly said looking down

"I know that look!" Rocky exclaimed "he was thinking about a girl!" I shot him and evil glare and went back to my toast

"awwwwh does little Rossy have a crush?" Rydel teased

"shut up!!" I said laughing and going even more red

"stop teasing him, I'm sure she's lovely Ross" my mum said making me smile

"she is" I whispered to myself

"so ross where is you hoodie" my mum asked again

"errrrr..um.. well I sorta..ermm let her keep it.." I whispered, but my mum heard

"ROSS-" my mum started

"BUT she was cold and it just looked so good on her and...yeah" I quickly said

my mum sighed and said "alright then, but only because I can tell you really like this girl" I smiled and finished off my toast just as Ellington walked through the front door

"hey guys, whos ready to ROCK?!" he said, screaming the last part

"hey Ell" everyone chorused, I have no idea how he is so active this time in the morning. just as he was sitting down at the table dad walked into the room

"come on guys, now ell's here we can start" he said, by now it was 7 o'clock and we were already running late, so we all ran downstairs and began the practice.

* 2 hours later*

"I'm Crazy its true, crazy 4 U"   I sang as the rest of the band finished the song. when the song had finished everyone clapped

"good job today guys, lets start to pack away" my dad said whilst unplugging an amp. we stared to put our instruments back into their cases.

"so where do you guys wanna go for lunch?" mum asked as we were just finishing packing away

"MCDONALDS!" screamed Ryland

"YEAH!" Rocky screamed

"no way, it's so fatty!" argued Rydel "why don't we go somewhere that's healthier?"

"awwh but I really REALLY want McDonalds!" rocky whined pouting

"alright lets vote" mum said "all in favour of going somewhere healthy raise your hand..." Rydel threw both her hands straight in the air "...all in favour of going to McDonalds raise your hand..." everyone else threw there hands in the air, even mum 

"looks like we are going to McDonalds!" Rocky cheered

"seriously?! you guys are so unhealthy!" Rydel moaned

"come on now! everyone in the van!" Riker said herding everyone out the door.

we all pilled into the van, I was sat next to Rocky, in the very back. On the other side of Rocky was Ryland and he had his headphones in. Rydel, Riker and Ell were sat in the middle and mum was sat in the passenger seat and dad was driving.

I was a 20 minute drive to McDonalds so I got out my phone and decided that I was gonna text Katie, it feels like forever since I've spoken to her. I quickly typed

-hey :) xx-

and sent it. I soon got a reply

-Hiya! :) whats up? xx-

I smiled and quickly replied with

-just on my way to McDonalds with the family! yumm! you? xx-

she replied with

-I'm jealous ;) I love McDonalds! I'm stuck at home doing homework :( xx-

i thought for a minute then replied with

-awwh that really sucks! anything i can help with?-

she replied with

-haha that's ok! unless your secretly a math genius? xx-

i laughed and quickly typed back

-haha sadly I'm not :P xx-

she replied with

-haha shame! i gtg  have to finish this homework!xx -

i was sad that she had to go but i didn't want to be the reason she got in trouble

-awwh :( ok talk to you later? xx-

she replied

-deffinatly! :D xx-

i locked my phone and put it back into my pocket and turned toward Rocky and saw he was staring at me

"DUDE?!" i said shocked, i didn't expect him to be staring at me "why are you staring at me?"

"you really like her don't you?" he asked, i figured he was talking about Katie

"yeah, its crazy, I've only known her for like 3 days, but whenever i talk to her, i don't know i just feel happy, like i don't have a care in the world, all that matters is her. Its just crazy" i say blushing

"wow.." Rocky said "I've never seen you like this before! she must be pretty special if you feel like that about her" i saw him smile "and because you gave her your favourite hoodie" i laughed a little

"she is special, i don't know what it is about her but she is" i said as we pulled into a parking spot and we all started to climb out of the van

"c'mon lets go get FOOD!" Rocky yelled as he jumped out of the car and we all walked into McDonalds

A/N you all have permission to hate me! i am so so so so so so so so so soo sorry for not updating in nearly a month!! i just get so much homework and i have swimming nearly everyday! sorry this chapter is short but i thought you guys needed something!! i know what is gonna happen in this story and ive got an awesome idea for later on! so its only gonna get better! comments and votes are greatly appreciated but im not gonna force you too! but if you wanna please doo!!!
