"Katie wake up! your going to be late sweetie" I heard my mum say, my eyes slowly fluttered open, i dizzily sat up and i quickly grabbed my phone and checked the time. 6:30 PM!
"oh my gosh oh my gosh! thank you thankyou!" I quickly said
i must have fallen asleep for longer than i thought as now, i only had half an hour to get ready for my date and i didn't even know what i was wearing yet!
"you welcome now go get ready! we cant keep Ross waiting!" she said and walked out
i quickly got off my bed and ran into the bathroom and took a really quick shower and washed my hair. i wrapped a towel around my self and hopped out the shower. I sat down on my bed and started to dry my hair.
when I had dried it I styled it in a side plait, by the time I had finished that it was 6:45.
I ran to my wardrobe and started hunting. I chose a flowery dress that came just above my knees and put a brown belt just above the waist. and put a brown cropped jacket over the top. and started on my make up, I just put a tiny bit of concealer and mascara on and grabbed my purse and my phone then raced downstairs and quickly laced up my yellow converse just as the door bell rang.
"I'LL GET IT MUM!" I screamed and ran to the door. I quickly fixed my hair and opened the door...
Ross' POV
*6:30 PM*
"Ross what time are you picking Katie up?" Riker asked whilst we were mid way through playing on the xbox
"7 o'clock" I asked
"dude it's 6:30 now!" Rocky said pausing the game
"WHAT?! oh god I gotta get ready" I said dropping my controller and running upstairs to mine and Ryland's room and see Ryland sat on the bed on his ipad
"dude get out!" I say whilst looking through my wardrobe
"whhhy" he wines
"cos I have to get ready!" I say pushing him out the door
"ok ok!" he said and he shut the door as he left.
I continued looking through my wardrobe but had no idea what to wear!
"need some help?" Rydel said from the doorway
"urmmm...yeah..." I said sitting down on my bed, and she walked over to the wardrobe and stared inspecting all my clothes. after about 5 minutes of rummaging through my wardrobe she picked out something for me
"here wear this...and this...and urrmmm this!" she said throwing clothes at me, she had chosen Jeans, a plain white t-shirt and a black leather jacket "now hurry up and get changed, you have 15 minutes!" and she walked out.
once I had got changed I grabbed my phone and my wallet then ran downstairs. I quickly laced up my converse and checked the time 6:50. I grabbed the car keys and quickly ran through to the kitchen and grabbed the stuff I had prepared for the date
"bye mum, bye dad see you in a bit" I said hugging both of them
"bye sweetie have fun!" my mum said
"but not too much fun!" my dad said winking I laughed and ran to the front door
"BYE!" I screamed again and heard a chorus of "byes" as I walked out and shut the door behind me.
I put the stuff for the date in the trunk and got into the car and started it up and drove to Katie's, luckily she only lives about 5 minutes away.
