Say You'll Stay? (A Ross Lynch fanfic)

Chapter 9

Ross' POV

as I drove away all I could feel was butterflies floating around in my stomach and all I could think about was that kiss. the way it felt as if fireworks were bursting all around us, I'd never felt anything like it in my life, and I could defiantly get used to the feeling.

when I arrived back home i parked the car on the drive way, grabbed the basket out of the boot and walked into the house. I dropped the basket into the kitchen then went into the living room where rocky, riker, Rydel and ryland were sat on the couch  watching a film

"hey guys" I said and there was a chorus of "hey's" and "sup's" as I plopped down on the couch next to Ryland, with a huge smile on my face.

"how did it go?" asked Rydel "by that huge smile I'm guessing well?"

"it was..." I answered  "...perfect"

"wow" Rydel said 

"must have been good then"  rocky said winking

"it was" I said to him.

"so when do we get to meet your girlfriend then?" my mum asked walking into the room, sitting down next to riker.

"mum she's technically not my girlfriend" I said looking down

"dude!" rocky said

"what?" I asked

"you really like this girl, right?" he asked. I nodded "well what are you waiting for? ask her!"

"but what if she says no? I mean we've only been on one date and I don't even know if she liked it she could-" I started but my mum cut me off

"sweetheart, you wont ever know unless you try"

"yeah ross just go for it!" Rydel said

"you sure?" I asked. I didn't want to sound pathetic, but I really liked Katie and didn't want to ruin my chances with her. then an Idea popped into my head  "maybe I should invite her round, so she can meet you all and you can see if you like her? and then if it goes well I will ask her?"

"sounds like a good idea" they all said

"so when you gonna invite her round?" riker asked

"oooh she can come tomorrow! we were planning on having a barbeque so she can come to that!" Rydel squealed

"yeah that sounds good!" said my mum

"so i'll go text her then!" I said standing up

"don't stay up too late" my mum said hugging me, I hugged her back then ran up the stairs to my room I share with Ryland.

I quickly pulled my shirt off and put on some pyjama bottoms, I hopped into bed and grabbed my phone and text Katie

-hey xx-

a few seconds later she replied

-hii, thanks for today I had an amazing time:D xx-

I smiled to myself and replied

-no thankyou you made it perfect :) anyway I wanted to ask you something... xx-

I waited for a moment and she replied

-ask away... xxx-

I smiled at her reply and quickly typed

-I was wondering if you wanted to come over to my house tomorrow, were having a barbeque and I thought it would be fun if you came? if you want? xx-

I waited for a moment then hit send, hoping she would say yes

-i'd love to! I just need to ask my mum first xx-

I replied with

-yay! okay xx-

I waited for a few minutes then she replied

-mum said I can come! just need to know a time and your address? xx-

I replied with

-i'll pick you up at about 12ish if that's ok with you? xx-

she replied with

-yeah that's fine! anything I need to bring? xx-

I thought for a second then replied

-errrrrm a swim suit maybe cuz we will probably go in the pool? that's about it I think xx-

she replied with

- you have a pool?! awesome xx-

I replied with

-yeah its pretty cool ;) anyway gtg now its getting late nighty night<3xx-

I waited for her reply, wondering if the heart was a bad idea but she replied with

-nighty night don't let the bed bugs bite<3xxx-

I smiled at her reply and put my phone on my bedside table. I heard everyone else walking up the stairs, presuming that their film had finished. Ryland walked in and sat on his bed.

"so is she coming?" he asked

"yeah" I said sleepily

"awesome" he said standing up and changing into his pyjamas

"night bro got a big day tomorrow" I said curling up in my bed

"night" he said turning the lights off

A/N hey guys! im so sorry for not updating in aggeeeesssss! ive just been really busy with school and homework and all of that rubbish! but since its summer now I plan to be updating more regularly! I know this chapters not very long or that interesting but I thought you guys needed something! and I needed to get back in the feel for the story!
