First Impressions - Vinnie Hacker FanFic

I wake up and I open my eyes, looking for Vinnie and not seeing him in his room. I go on tik tok for a few minutes to wake up and I sit up and open his bedroom door. "Hey!" Jordan calls out and I look at the living room and walk-in. I see Jordan, Faith, and Shane sitting on the couch. "Did you come out of Vinnies room?" Jordan asks and I freeze up. "No, she didn't she came out of hers," Shane says looking at me. "Yeah, sorry, I'm still half asleep." I laugh sitting next to Shane. "Speaking of, where is he?" I ask, yawning. 

"I don't know, he left like an hour ago." I nod, looking at the time. 8 am... where is he going at 7 am? "Okay, well I'm going to go get a quick shower. "Sounds good." Faith says and I walk up into my room. "Y/n?" I hear a knock on my door as I'm grabbing clothes. "Come in!" I say as Shane opens the door and closes it. "You're welcome." He says and I look at him, "For?" I say moving a piece of hair behind my ear as I grab sweat pants. "Covering for you?" I shrug, "Well, I wasn't in Vinnie's room so, you really didn't." Shane nods, "Still playing dumb? I know for a fact something happened or is happening between you guys. I know it." I nod, "Right." I say squeezing past him into Vinnie's rooms. "Using his bathroom is a couple's thing." He whispers. "No, his shower head is just better to wash my hair with, doesn't take 10 minutes to rinse out shampoo because the water speed is hard as hell. Not soft like it's raining." He nods, "Right..." He shuts the door and I walk into Vinnie's bathroom and start to shower. 

I hear the bathroom door open 10 minutes,  "Hello?" I ask.  "Y/n?" I look out the curtain, covering everything but my body at Vinnie's response. "Hi!" I say smiling. He grabs something from his bathroom cabinet. "Alright, I'm leaving, see you later."  I look at him. "Again?" He nods, "Sorry I forgot something." I nod, doing the duck face for a kiss and he just leaves. When he leaves I see the condom in his hand and I nod and scoff to myself.

"Yeah, wanna come?" Vinnie's friend, Aaron, asks as all the boys, and Faith, is going to the skatepark with him and a few other friends. I nod, "Yeah sure." We all get in the 2 separate cars and drive to the warehouse place all the ramps and stuff are at. We walk in and it's huge. It has so many cool things if you are into skating. I've always wanted to skate but never wanted to learn by myself in case I got injured or something. "So, the first thing we're going down is 5 by 8," Aaron says looking at me. "Whos we?" I ask and he smiles, "You and me." I laugh, "Yeah, right. I don't even know what a 5 by 8 is." He points to the ramp. "I don't know, the ramps kinda tall and steep." Aaron smiles. 

"Halfpipe, but it's okay I'll hold your hands if that's okay, and run down the way while you skate." I smile, "Very nice of you but I think I'm okay."  He shrugs, "Let me know if you change your mind." I nod, "Will do." Faith walks past me and grabs my arm and brings me to a corner of the building and sits down. "I sit here when I don't want to do anything." 

I hear a big slam and look towards the door to see Vinnie walking in with some girl. I nod to myself once again, "Shane?" I whisper yell to him and he grabs his skateboard and walks over to me. "You okay?" I nod, "Is there a bathroom here?" He nods and takes my wrist and runs me to the bathroom. "Thank you," I say smiling and opening the door to shut it. I groan and try to calm myself down before I say something to Vinnie. But why would I say anything to him, we aren't a couple. He can do what he wants... shit. I don't know what to do.

"Shane" I text Shane and he responds quickly with a what, "You okay?" I think for a second what to say, "Come to the bathroom again." I put my phone away and hear a knock on the door seconds later. "What's wrong?" He says as I open the door and pull him in and shut it. "You're the only one I really will go out of my mind to say goodbye, so goodbye." He looks at me confused, "Vinnie just got here, go say hi real quick." I stay silent looking around the bathroom. "That's why you want to leave?" I nod. "Okay, well, I am not taking you home. You aren't just going to avoid him when there's a problem." I give him a small smile, "Right, see you later,  I'm getting an uber." I reach for the door handle and he grabs my hand. "I'll take you home if you do one thing." I look at him, groaning. "Just let Aaron help you down the ramp because he really wants to teach you." I sigh, "Then we will go home?" He nods, "Yes, I promise. And if you tell me everything that's going on and why you're avoiding Vinnie." I roll my eyes, "You're pushing it." He laughs, "Fine." 

"Aaron!" I say loudly walking out of the bathroom and walking towards him. "Help me go down this... 5 by... 8?" He smiles. "Really?" I nod and he smiles more. "Okay, come." He grabs his board and my hand and helps me get to the top first. "Okay, put your foot all the way back here so the board lifts off the side and put your other foot at the lifted side. But do not put pressure on the upside." I nod and do as he says. "Can I?" He sticks his hands out. I put my hands in his and he counts down. "3, 2, 1!" He runs down the ramp holding my hand as I slide down and I go to fall but he keeps me up. "Try again?" I nod.

 I look at Vinnie as I get to the top and notice the past few times he's never looking at me but the one time he was he looked away as soon as I did. He was talking to the blonde girl he walked in with the whole entire time. "Y/n?" Aaron says, snapping and holding my hand again. I look at him. "You can't be distracted while skating, it's not that safe with a lot on your mind." I nod, "I know, I know." I look at Vinnie quickly. "You and Vinnie?" he asks and I shake my head. "I thought just maybe but, this is the second time I've seen him the whole day and it's with a girl. the first time I saw him for 30 seconds and saw him grabbing a condom and leaving the house again, so." He nods, "Emily." He looks at them too. "Huh?" He looks back at me. "That's Emily. Xanax Barbie on tik tok." I shake my head, not knowing who he's talking about. "Yeah, I didn't know here either. But listen, you're a great girl and far better than that barbie basic ass over there. Vinnie doesn't choose you, he doesn't cant help that. But you can't just sulk around here when I'm trying my best to help you have fun. You want his attention then show him you're having fun with me." I nod, "yeah, you're right." I give him a kiss on the cheek. "Ready?" he smiles and I nod.  

"Shut up!" I say laughing, sitting to the side to take a quick break. "No, you really did fall like a cartoon character!" I roll my eyes, smiling. "One more time?" I nod and Aaron grabs my hands and his board and gets us back to the top. "Okay, 1, 2, 3!" We go down and I don't fall off. I jump off the board into Aaron's arms, all excited when I do the 'trick' correctly. "You did it!!" he says hugging me as all the other boys we came with hype me up. "Okay, I'm gonna go now though, I'll definitely come back again. Thank you, I actually had fun." He nods, "Yeah, me too!" I give him a quick hug. "Shane!" I walk up to him. 

"Y/n!" I hear running as Vinnie calls out as I close the car door but I act like I don't. I goon my phone to wait for Shane. "Can we stop at in-and-out or something?" I look to the driver seat as someone sits down and I see Vinnie. "What the?" I ask and he buckles himself in. "What are you doing?" I ask and he looks at me, "I'm taking you home because I want to go home more than, Shane. I could ask you what you're doing too." I look at him, "Going... home?" he shakes his head, "Alright, we'll talk about this at the house since you clearly aren't getting it." He starts to drive off and I just sit there so confused. The car ride is silent, it isn't like an okay silence where it's not awkward if your sitting in silence. This is the one where it is awkward as fuck. 

"Come to my room," He says parking the car. "Why?" I ask and he shrugs, "because I want to talk to you." 

A/N: SORRY TO LEAVE ON A CLIFFHANGER: the chapter was getting very long and if I continued it to where I would stop this chapter, it would probably be 3,000 words so I am splitting it up :) ( NEXT CHAPTER WILL BE A SMUT CHAPTER!!!!)
