"Alright, how am I getting home." I say under my breath as I step outside the hospital. I grab my phone, it's dead. I turn back in the hospital. "Excuse me, Can I use the phone here? Mine is dead and I need a ride home." The front desk lady nods, pushing the hospital phone towards me. I'm trying to remember numbers and I only remember one by heart, besides Vinnie's. That'd be...

"You can't tell anyone about this please." He'd nod as I get into the car. "I understand." I look at Jaden. "Okay. Because I would be dead if Vinnie found out. Or anyone. And god forbid Faith finds out, it's over for me." He shrugs, "I know. I won't tell anyone." I get a text from Bryce. "Are you back with Jaden :))" Reads the text. I drop my phone on my lap. "You dumbass!" He looks at me confused as we pull away. "What?"  "You already told Bryce?!" Jaden makes a face knowing he messed up. "Just Bryce. And Josh. And Noah. That's it. Unless they told someone." I groan. "Let me out. I'll find someone else." I say and he laughs, "You don't know anyone else's number!" I grab his phone and enter the password I somehow still remember. I go t his contacts and scroll to Addisons. "Jaden I told you to forget about it." She says as she picks up almost immediately. I clear my throat, "Uh, hi Addison." She's quiet for a second. "Y/n, hi oh my god... I am so sorry." I laugh uncomfortably. "Why are you with Jaden right now?" She asks. "Not the point. Are you doing anything right now?" She hums, "Hm, no I am not." I nod, "Do you by a chance think you can pick me up from the hospital." Jaden looks at me. "Y/n seriously." I look at him coldly and look away. "Why are you at the hospital, everything okay?" "just pick me up, please."  I hang up and give Jaden his phone back and open the car door. "Y/n." He grabs my arm. I look at his hand as he tightly squeezes my arm. He lets go. "Probably will be the last time you'll hear from me. For a while." He leans in. "Jaden what the fuck!" He puts his head in his hands, exhaling deeply. "What in any way made you feel like that was a good time to do that?!" I shake my head getting out of the car, not even looking back.

"Y/n?" I look to my right as I get out his car. "Hi!" I put on a smile to Vinnie's family. "Leaving already?" I ask and walk up to them. "yeah, we'll probably visit him tomorrow. You can go back in if you'd like." I shake my head, "I'd love to but I need to get home and shower and everything." They nod, "Well, We can give you a ride if you need one." His Dad says to me. "Oh, no, thank you but I have a friend coming to pick me up." They nod "Nice meeting you!" they says to my in sync and I smile and wave as they walk away.

"Hi," I say getting into Addisons car. "Hey." She says quietly. The first few minutes of the ride are silent as hell. "Okay, can we just clear up the elephants in the car." I look at her confused. "Theres more than one?" She nods. "I'll say what you were wondering. When I picked up the phone I said that me and him talked about something and to forget it. Me and him had a thing." I raise my eyebrows and stay looking straight ahead. "For a few weeks." I scoff, "Wow." She groans, "You don't like him do you? I thought you'd be cool about it." I look at her like she's crazy. "Addison, I do not like him, at all. I have every right to be upset. It's the fact you know how much he hurt me AND he's my ex AND the fact you know exactly what your getting your ass into!" She's quiet. "You're right." I nod, "Damn right I am." I lean back  "Okay now how about your two elephants? Why were you with Jaden. And at the hospital?" I sigh, "Vinnie's in there. I had no ride home and my phone was dead. So the only number I had mesmerized was Jadens." She gives me a 'sorry' look. "What happened with Vinnie?" She says, not sounding like she cares at all. "Car accident. He's fine though. I think he has a concussion and he just fractured his leg." She nods. staying silent the rest of the car ride. 

We pull  up to the house and I grab my phone. "Thanks." I say opening the door to her car and hopping out. "Why so dry?" She asks and I shake my head, "Goodnight. Be careful." I say turning towards the house and walking in, not turning back to look at her. Something just seems off in the friendship. I know not talking about it is making it not any better, but now was not the time.

 I set my phone on my bed after plugging it into the charger. I go to take off my clothes to get dressed and the door opens. I pull my shirt back over my head in a hurry, for it only to be Faith. "Oh, sorry."  I shake my head, waving my hand in a back and forward motion, telling her to come in. She does so as she also closes the door behind her. I walk over to my dresser and grab just a big t-shirt. "How is he?" She asks, sitting on my bed. "He's fine. Just a head and leg injury. Nothing big though." She smiles, "Y/n?" I turn towards her, as I pull my hair out of the shirt I had just pulled over my head. "I'm sorry. For getting in you and Vinnie's relationship. It's not my place. It's just jealously."  I shrug, "I get it, it's okay."  I say taking off my pants and putting shorts on. "No, it's not." Faith says as I sit on bed. "Which is why...  I stayed up the past 2 nights really late, thinking of icks to get over him. Because I miss our girl time. I just miss this friendship." I smile, "Faith, I do too. But I am so sorry for the situation I had put you in.Your friend comes in out of nowhere and steals the boy you've always wanted."  She shakes her head, "No, because if you hadn't come I would've been stuck onhim.  And to see how fast he wanted you, shows that if he liked me back he would've made a move faster. So, it helped me realize I was wasting my time." I stick my arms out for a hug and she hugs me. "I missed you." She says and I Hug her tightly. "I missed you too." 

"Woah, this is... strange." Jordan says walking in my room. "Oh, hi." I say as me and Faith both laugh. "Vinnie will be home in 5 days. Weirdly fast, if you ask me. But i'm glad its sooner then later." I nod, "Yeah, I agree." I say and Faith looks at me. "I'm  gonna head to bed. Goodnight." I smile and say goodnight back and she leaves. "She... looks.. up to no good." Jordan says as I nod. "I don't think so. You do? I guess I just want to trust her so I don't see it." He shrugs, "I could be wrong but, I don't know. Goodnight, you should get some Z's."I laugh, shaking my head, "Goodnight, Jordan." He closes the door and I sit back questioning if I should trust her or not. I shrug it off and just turn out my light and lay down. I'm just drifting off and I get a text. "Goodnight, sorry I can't be there tonight, but soon though. I promise <8. " Then a separate text. "And I know i put an 8 and not a 3 for the heart, bc were forever." I smile at my phone and text Vinnie back. "I'll miss you the next few days. Goodnight <8" i set my phone down as i turn my body and fall asleep.
