"Don't tell your mother you've been gambling" Mr. Weasley grabbed Fred and George by their shoulders on their way down the purple-carpeted staircase.
"Don't worry Dad" Fred said gleefully, "We have big plans for the money, we don't want it confiscated"
Mr. Weasley opened his mouth in question but closed it without saying anything, shook his head, and turned away to congratulate the Diggorys instead. They were soon caught up in the huge flow of people making their way back to the campsite, and y/n had to link arms with the twins to keep from losing them in the immense crowd. She wasn't sure whether it was their height, or the fact that they practically shoved their way through the crowds, but y/n and the twins were the first of the Weasleys to make their way back to the tent. The loud cheers of the Irish supporters and the whine of a fiddle drowned out any conversation they might have managed, but they were so drained they just ended up lying on the couch unable to fall asleep.
"He's a beast that Krum!" Ron burst through the tent door wearing his shirt as a cape, followed by a weary looking Harry and Hermione. The twins looked up expectantly.
"Krum?"
"Krum!"
"Krum! He's more than an athlete" Ron jumped onto the central table and posed, "he's an artist"
"Krum!"
"Krum!" Fred and George circled around Ron like birds while y/n laughed.
"I think Ron's in love!" Ginny cried out as she stepped into the tent. The twins both stopped running around to get on one knee and sing
"Vic-tor I love you!"
"Vic-tor I doooo!" Fred winked up at y/n as her, Hermione, and Harry joined in
"When we're apart my heart beats only for youuuuu!"
Mr. Weasley bursts into the tent, and the loud sounds of screaming and firecrackers makes everyone jump.
"Well I see the Irish have got their party on" George jokes
"Its not the Irish." Mr. Weasley said gravely, "we have to go"
"What?"
"Dad, what's happening?"
"Calm down! Fred, George, you take y/n and Ginny. Ron, you have Harry and Hermione. I'm going to help the ministry, I'll find you after, get into the woods and stick together!"
Fred stood up immediately, grabbing Ginny by the arm and running outside the tent. George stood and pulled you after him. Immediately, they could see what was wrong, people were running in every direction, and fires burning and spells being cast haphazardly. The red flashes were the illuminated Fred and George's frowning faces and glinted off the tears running down Ginny's face.
"Gin. Listen to me. Listen! It's going to be okay, just don't let go of my hand." Y/N harshly put her hand into Ginny's as the twins pointed to the barely visible tops of trees over the smoke line. Fred and George were much faster than y/n on a good day, but on a dark night holding Ginny's hand....
"It would be better if we just split up!" Y/N shouted. If either of the twins tried leading Ginny they would just end up dragging and tripping her over the overturned roots and other debris.
"Not a chance, Granger." Fred responded. George ran back to them and scooped Ginny up, carrying her like a toddler on his hip and the group started up again.
The black smoke choked y/n, and blinded her, and even though Fred was only a few feet ahead of her she already felt herself getting lost. She reached out into the darkness and grabbed a handful of Fred's sweater, letting him guide her through the fires. Even following the trail Fred was leading, y/n still tripped on what seemed like every root, slammed into every tentpole.
