ELENA GILBERT NERVOUSLY KNOCKED ON THE DOOR TO THE MIKAELSON MANSION. The doppelgänger knew very well that the blonde original could kill her the second she opened the door but hoped their shared goal for finding the cure was enough of an incentive not to.
The door opened and the blonde girl looked down her nose. "What are you doing here?" Elena swallowed thickly and faked confidence, "I need your help, let's put aside our differences for the cure." The blonde vampire narrowed her eyes at this, before giving a quick nod and letting the girl come in.
Rebekah led the way to the couches and sat down, drink in hand, "Well are you going to talk or just look dumb?"
Elena again faked fearlessness, "Kol is hellbent on killing Jeremy and making sure no one gets the cure..I-" Elena stopped for a second wondering what was she asking. "What would make Kol stop? Damon and Stefan won't stop for the cure and might do something drastic."
Rebekah narrowed her eyes and slammed her drink on the table. "Are you asking if my brother has a weakness?"
"Yes," Elena said not beating around the bush. The original stood up contemplating her choices before saying, "My brother has always been the wildest of us, the most blood thirsty and psychotic. But when we moved to New Orleans there was a girl."
