Todoroki X Reader: Christmas Lights

As I walk towards the city, I feel a warmth feeling fill inside my body. Excitement and chills run through my body as I see the city lights shining in the night sky. Even though it being 30 degrees outside my body is warm with the soft clothing surrounding me.

"Love! Look at the lights!" I say to Todoroki.

"I see love" he responds in a warm smile, as he wraps his arm around my waist.

Being in the city has always been something I enjoyed as a child, something I will never get tired of. Being surrounded by the busyness of people working, surrounded by sound 24/7 never being quiet, there is always something new in the city, never anything old.

Christmas nearing Todoroki brought me downtown to see the tall Christmas tree in the center of the city. Something I love seeing when it's that time of year. Once Todoroki asked me I had to say yes!

Me and Todoroki have been dating for about a 3 years now, working hard each day and night as we run our own company to save the people in need. For the past couple of months we have not been able to do anything for ourselves, it has been just constant work. Just recently we planned this in hope nothing can disturb us and we can just have some alone time to ourselves.

We begin to walk towards the tree, hand in hand and just admire the lights that are in front of us.

"It's so pretty!" I say as I can't take my eyes off the beautiful tree before me.

"Not as pretty as you" I hear him remark

"Stop love! You're making me blush!" I respond as I feel my face turn red.

I turn my head away feeling embarrassed of his cute comment.

As I continue to look at the tree I feel a hand on my cheek, I look over and see Todoroki caressing my cheek, wanting me to face him.

"Yes love?" I question, as I give him my full attention.

Todoroki has always been a very loving boy. He never seems to out due his love. The little actions I always show appreciation, him waking me up early for work, making me breakfast when I forget to wake up. Bringing me flowers time to time to show his love.

"I love you" Todoroki says softly as he stares lovingly into my eyes. Hand holding my cheek as he wraps his other hand around my waist pulling me closer to his chest.

I feel a warm feeling inside once again, as I stare into his two toned eyes. I feel safe as I'm protected by him. The words are repeated inside my head once again as I try to process what's going on before me, his words coming out as genuine.

"I love you too my love" I say softly, feeling a little ebessared by his words but wanting him to know I mean it as well.

As we continue to stare into each other's eyes, I feel him pull me even closer and feel our lips collide. The warm feeling exploding through my body one again, I close my eyes and kiss back.

What can feel like a lifetime, not wanting to stop, we pull away after 5 seconds.

"Please never leave me, I love you so much" he says softly pulling me into a hug, hiding into my soft bear sweater.

"I'll never leave you silly, I'll always be by your side" I hug back pulling him closer.

Hugging one other under the beautiful Christmas tree lights that surround the city.
