Chapter 12
When we got to the traces I felt like home. I used race when I was living with my parents. I would come here to get away from the drama and fights. And this was what I needed. I looked over at Pawllette "Thank you and you were right this is just what I need" I told her. I started to walk towards the guys I'd hang out when I was here. "Oh my god she's a live" Luke said when he saw me. "Yes I am and here to get my title back" I said as I gave him a big hug. Luke looked over at some of the guys, "Hey look who came out to play." One of the guys Mark started to walk towards me. Mark and I use to have a thing going but nothing ever happened. I could tell he missed me but the hug he gave me.
"Well look who finally shows up" I heard from behind me. There stood a red head Tina aka the fire ball. She gave herself name but no one really calls her that, her and never really got along we always wanted to kill each other. "Looks like nothing has changed" I said with an evil smile on my face. "Don't be to sure of that Lexie she has your title since you've been gone" Luke said I frozed in place and looked at him. At first I though that he was trying to make a joke but it wasn't.
I looked back at her "You want it back? Well to bad" Tina then turned around and started to walk a way. I just gave her a dirty look til she said "Want to race for it?" My eyes light up and an evil smile was on. I looked her dead in her eyes and said "Sure why not!" Without even asking Luke he handed me the keys to his car. I grabbed the keys and gave Luke a kiss on the cheek "Thanks" I said as I started to walk over to the car with him behind me. I stopped half way to look around me, I felt like I was being watch. I though it might be Eric or Josh.
Eric's P.O.V
I saw Lexie talking to a group not sure what was going I just wanted to make sure that she's safe. Ever since the fight I have been worried.
I stayed out of sight and just watched what was going on. This is side of her I though of, her racing cars.
"What are you doing getting into the car?" I said to myself. I watched her get in the car and race with some other person. The next thing I knew she was going to race. I moved a little close to get a look at the person she was about race. I've heard that some demons like to do things like since, putting there life in danger. That's when I notice who it was. I knew I had to tell Lexie I just didn't want to have her get hurt. Also I don't want her to think that I don't trust her when I do. ~Hey where are you?~
Lexie's P.O.V.
I was starting to feel like my old self, I was in the lead when all of a sudden ~Hey where are you?~ I knew something was up. ~Hanging out with some friends. Why?~ I wasn't going to let this mess me up on this race. ~I though that Pawllette told you to leave me alone for a while~ Eric and I were talking till I was done with the race and kick Tina's ass. I told him where I was at, ~Meet me in the parking lot~ I figured we could talk about what happened. I got out of the car with a big ass grin. I knew she was pissed. I handed Luke his keys told Pawlly I'd be and went to the parking I needed to do this on my own.
Eric was already there waiting for me. "So what do you want to talk to me about? Maybe what happened today?" Eric nodded "ok then start talking" He told me what happened in the woods. "Wait A minute it was Andrew out there?" I was really confused, "Last thing I remember he moved when we were just kids. And there's not way his my boyfriend he was like family." I was pissed I texted Pawlly letting her know that I have something to take care of. Then looked at Eric "I'll meet you back at the house I have something to do."
As I turned to walk to the car Eric stopped me by grabbing my arm. ~If your going to confront him I'm going with~ he mind link said. I didn't argue with him about that. Plus having him there with me might be a good thing just in case things went bad. I had my hand out "Then I'm driving" I demanded. Eric gave me the keys as we walked to the car I pulled out my phone and sent Andrew an email. Telling him that I need to talk to him and that I know his in town."Where are we going?" Eric asked when we got to the car "To get some answers" was all that I said
