Chapter 10
Lexie's P.O.V.
When I got to Pawllette's I stayed in the car for a while before walking to her and breaking down crying, but it to late. As soon as I got out of the car and was at the door I could feel my eyes wanting to let go of the tears that I've been back. I rang the door bell and wanted for her to answer the door which wasn't very long. As soon as I saw her I just let the tear's go. "Oh my god Lexie what happened?"
I couldn't say anything with how hard I was cry. It didn't matter to me that she didn't tell me her secret I was to hurt. She pulled me inside the house. Pawllette took my bag and put it on the coffee table while I sat on the couch. "Hey girl what happened?" she asked again. "Turn on some music and I'll tell you" she looked at me funny for a minute but did what I asked.
Pawllette was playing heavy metal while I told her what happened. When I was done her phone started to ring. She looked at the caller ID. "It him what do you want me to tell him?" with out thinking "Not to come over if he asks." Pawllette nod her head and went to another room to take the call. I sat there on the couch still crying and thinking that he never want me.
When she came back she had food with her. "You need to eat something" I didn't fight with her on it so I ate the pizza that she had brought with her. When I was don't eating and feeling a little bit better I tanked her "Hey do you think I can stay her for a while?" A smile formed on her face. "Yes you can" I focused a smile on my face I got up grabbed my bag and went to the room that I used to stay at when ever I'd run away from my parents.
I flopped on the bed next thing I knew I was a sleep.
The next day when I woke up I felt better and found a blanket on me. I heard voices and knew who they belonged to Pawllette and Eric. I pulled out my phone and texted Kat.
Me: hey what are you up to today??
Kat: Nothing why?
Me: need to come over plz..?
Kat: of course
I went to took my boots off then went to grab my bag and head to the bathroom to shower and change. When I was dressed and had my boots back on I popped opened the bedroom window grabbed the keys to my car and climbed out. I wasn't ready to talk to him yet. I slowly walked to the car. When I reached the car o opened the door and closed it as quiet as I could. Instead of turning the car on I put it in neutral so it could roll out of the drive way. When I was I started the car and took off as he was coming out of the house with Pawllette right behind him. I had sent a text to Pawllette letting her know that I'm not mad at her.
When I got to Kat's I felt relieved. I got out of the car and walked right in her house. She's like family so I have that right. "Hey sis I'm here" I said I hear little foot steps that belonged to a cute little blond girl name Rose, my niece her daughter saying "Auntie Lexie." I picked her up and started to walk the direction she had came from to find her mom (Kat) starting a bath for her. This child does not like baths. She looked at my with a smile. "Thank god"
"Need some help?" I could tell she was having some trouble trying to get her to take her bath. "Please" since I had Rose already in my arms I closed the bathroom door. "Okay little one you need to take your bath when your done this door will open until then its going to be close with me in front of it.
She didn't like that "But I don't need a bath" was her response. "If mommy is saying you need one then you need one" I put her down and she did what Kat told her to do, then she turned to me. "So I'm not complaining but what's wrong?" I could never hide anything from her so I pulled out my phone while I told her and typed some things on my phone that I didn't want Rose to her.
