CHAPTER 6
When we get there I tell him and the people who he brought with not to start anything or I will just wake away they all nod there heads in agreement. I sat down in the empty chair Eric was standing right behind me and put a hand on my right shoulder just in case he has to clam me down. Chris looks at Eric then at me "OK Lexie this is Jacob the leader of my pack." I look at Jacob with a blank look not really caring who he is. "So why did you call me out tonight" I said still looking at Jacob and Chris. "I had him call you so this way I can insure that what Chris had told you earlier is true." "Really that's what you call me out for this" I crossed my arms over my chest I was even more mad than i was before.
Waiting for someone to say something Eric gives my shoulder a small squeeze his way of saying let's go. "Well since no one is saying anything I'm leaving oh and Chris don't call me unless you have to!" I got up and started to make my way to the car with Eric by my side and Chris running behind us for some reason. 'Leixe...I miss you I miss us" when he said that I turned around not moving towards him. "How the fuck are you going to tell me this you miss me you miss us....do you not remember you were the one who broke my heart I'm sorry to say this Chris but I don't not anymore at least." And got in the car and left the coffee shop.
The first half of the car ride was quite Eric looks at me and notices that I'm depress. "Do you want to talk about what happened?" he said "Yeah when we get home" I said while looking out the window trying not to think abut what happened. When we got home I went to my room to change Eric was right behind me. I grabbed my baggie sweat pants and t shirt I went to the bath to change, when I was changed I come out of the bathroom and saw Eric on the bed.
"Do you really have to be in here?" raising an eyebrow to him "Why does it brother you?" he said with out looking at me. "Whatever" I climbed in bed looked at my phone on the side table debating if i should turn it off or not. I grabbed it Eric looking at me confused wounding what I"m going to with it tapped the screen and turned it off just in case Chris wanted to talk I couldn't talk to him i was so mad at him for the night. Not saying anything more I just sat on the bed trying to figure everything out. "Hey are you OK?" I didn't know what to say. Eric puts an arm around me and pulls me to him.
"I have no clue who I am anymore" I was trying so hard to hold back the tears that were trying to get out. "You know who you are no one else does don't let what that wolf says to get you confused" We sat in the dark not saying anything for a few minutes I wasn't sure what to do. Eric started to rub my back to clam me down. I laid my head on his chest seeing how I wasn't gonna be to move on my side. Next thing I know I'm asleep.
I wake with the sunlight peeking though the window Eric wasn't in the room I was all alone I look over at the clock that's on the bedside table it says 9:30am I throw the blanks off of myself and climbed out of bed instead of just going down stairs I got to the closet and grab some clothes and head to the bathroom. I turn on the water to the shower, as the water is running to warm up I take everything off the water is warm by now I get in letting the warm water just hit my body and relax the muscles. As I'm washing my hair there's a knock at the door "I'm in the shower what is it?" I get my head out of the shower so I am able to hear who ever is at the door better. "It can wait til you are out and dress"
I turn the water off and grab the fluffy towel dry off and then get dress when I open the door I see Eric sitting on the bed. I walk over and sit next to him "So wuz up?" I ask looking at the floor "Um....your parents found the house there down stairs and the want to talk to you" I looked up at him worried and scared "How the hell did they find out where I was?" I asked No one knew where I was at other than Chris. I look at him "I'm going to kill that stupid wolf ex of mine"
I go back into the bathroom to brush my hair and my teeth I put my hair up in a pony tail and then add a little bit of eye line. I take a last look in the mirror then make my way down stairs with Eric right behind me. Both of my parents are in the living room sitting on the couch Josh is in a across from them and an empty chair. I walk over to the empty chair and sat down in it no one said anything for a few minutes.
I couldn't take the silence any long "So what is it that you guys want?" I said with an attitude I was still mad at them from the last time we talked. Both of them looked at me like I did something wrong not breaking eye contact with them. "Lexie, angel we're sorry for what happened the last" my mom said looking sad. I hate seeing her like that but this time I don't care she did this to herself. "Ok so why are you guys here then?" I said to them both.
No one says anything for a while then I feel a and on my shoulder I knew that it was Eric since he wasn't sitting down or any where I could see him. My father looks at me "Lexie we haven't been honest with you about our family." He kept eye contact with me while he was speaking to me "Our family has a hunter in us its in the blood no matter what" Ok so they have been keeping something about our family away from me. "Why are you guys telling me this?" showing no emotion to them "Chris told us that he had told you, you weren't suppose to find out till your next birthday." Ok now I'm confused.
"Why was i suppose to find it then?" I asked looking at my father who was looking at my mom. She looks at me with her eyes watery that's when i knew something was up. "That when your suppose to start your training" Out of no where Eric steps up and says "We can start her training since most of the training camp she'd be going to is run by vampires." Without even thinking it all the way though "I like that idea it'd be done here in the yard and it'd be with people who I know and trust already."
"OK well then I guess that's everything other then this one do you think that you'd be able to come by home we miss you...?" I looked at them both so confused and not sure what to say so we just sat there in silence for a wile. "You know as much as it'd be easier for you guys but I can't." And that's when they got up from the couch and started to walk to the front door "I will think about moving back in OK love you both." I close the door when I see them getting in the car.
I was relieved that they left I couldn't believe that I was that nerves. No one was in the living room so I went to the glass door to look at the forest. I opened the door and just walk a little way to it just clear my head from everything that just happened.
Once when it started to get dark I turned around and walked to the house. When I was able to see the house and on the pouch I took a quick look and went inside. When I walk in I saw Josh on the couch playing a video Soul Calbur. Not saying anything I walked passed him and went up stairs to my room closed the door and locked. I didn't see where Eric was at I'm guessing he was out hunting or something.
I walk into the bathroom look in the mirror I looked like a messed so I turned on the hot water to the shower on. Once when I saw steam I hopped in, just sitting there for a while letting the hot water hit me and relax all of my muscles. Not wanting to get out but did anyways I grabbed the towel and wrapped around myself and went out to my room to walk to my closet to get some pj's. When I was dressed I went back down stairs Josh was still playing "Hey do you want to play a little one on one?" he said I nodded my head and walk over and started playing.
Eric comes in looks at me "We're gonna start your training tomorrow" "OK whose going to be training me tomorrow?" I paused the game when I asked him. He didn't say anything just walked over to the couch and joined in on the game. When we were done playing I went to my room and just flopped on the bed I didn't care that I wasn't under the covers.
