After the guys had talk to the head leader of the pack he gave us his name Rick. Anyways....after the guys talked and came to an understanding about everything we took this pack of wolves. I found out why Rick is always such a hard ass and acts like an asshole to everyone. But that I'm not gonna say no just yet, the wolves helped me with my training. I still wasn't so sure about working with the wolves. But there's nothing I can do.
I'd train every day with the wolves, and to be honest it was better than trying to train with Eric. It was late October I had just finished train. I went to my room to get ready for bed. I huffed when the clock said that it was almost midnight when I looked at the clock. I wanted one day not doing anything other just staying home and being lazy.
When I got out of the shower and I was in my pj's I laid on my bed thinking about the past few days. All I really did was train non stop. I grabbed my phone to send a text to my "sister" Kat to see how she's doing. ~Hey you still up?~ I waned to say no but I am now but I didn't. ~I was just about to go to bed what's up?~
I got up from the bed and started to walk over to my door. When I opened it there he was standing there with a big grin on his face. Great what is he thinking about. I wasn't in the mood I was to tired to do anything. "Get dress we're going some where and stop giving me that look" I kept giving him I'm going to kill you look.
"Are you kidding me? I just want to sleep" I whined. Eric didn't say anything just gave me a look. So I did what he asked. "Before I put my shoes on are you going to tell me why I'm getting dress when I should be in bed?" I said sitting on my bed. He wouldn't answer me. I didn't do anything "Are you going to answer me?" I said "I'd like to show you instead of telling you." Something was up and he was not going to tell so I just put my shoes on.
When we got to the car Eric held the door open for me. I got into the car his was already in the car after I fasten my seat belt. " Where are we going?" I asked looking confused he gave me a quick look then returned his eyes to the road. We got out in front of a nice restaurant, one that I've been at. He opened my door once when we found a parking spot. "You desver it my love"
I have no clue what's going on his never called me that. So I kept quit till I was able to figure out what's going on. I looked around when we get inside, Eric started to pull me to our table that was in a private room. Ok something isn't right here. A waitress came by and gave us our menus "Do you guys know what you want to drink?" she said looking only at Eric. "Two cherry cokes" he said without even looking at her I though that it was funny how she was trying to flirt with him, even through he never took his eyes off of me.
The waitress left us. Now is my chance to ask him what the deal is. "So why are we here?" I said while I was looking at the menu. There was so much to choice from. "Well I have been meaning to ask you something for some time" he started to say "Would you be my girlfriend?" I have been waiting for him to ask me out for a while now, but I was not expecting him to do to.
I took a deep breath and lowered my menu looking straight into his eyes. "Eric I would love to be your girlfriend" I said as I was turning red. But I didn't care I was with someone who means a lot to me.
A month later as I was training with Pawllette and the wolves I was able to feel a pair of eyes watching me in the woods. I had stopped for a moment "I need to catch my breath hold on" I said as I tried to see if I could see anyone, but there was no one. ~hey babe I need you to do something for me?~ I mind link Eric ~What is it love?~ every time he called me that I just wanted to melt. ~I think someone is watching us in the woods can you check it out for me please~ I turned around to get back to my training while waiting for him to tell me if I'm seeing things.
20 minutes went by ~Lexie get Josh and Pawllette~ "Pawllette" I yelled she turned and looked at me from the porch. She knew why I was calling for her. Pawllette jumped from the porch and landed near me. "Ready to go hunting" she said with a smile.
Pawllette and I walked into the woods ~Eric where are you?~ I asked him as I was looking around. Nothing looked to be standing out or was out of place. ~You'll see me soon, just be careful~ was all that he said. 10 minutes later of looking I found him. "Hey what happened?" asked as I went to his side.
Eric's P.O.V.
I went looking in to woods seeing if what Lexie was feeling about someone watching her wasn't in her head. I stayed in the trees so this way if there was anyone they wouldn't be able to see me. I spent about 5 minutes hoping from tree to tree when I spotted someone running.
So I jumped down and run full speed to catch the person. I had stopped in front of the person causing them to stop. "What the fuck" I didn't know who it was. "Who are you and why are you here?" he looked at me confused. "I'm Andrew Lexie's boyfriend I'm here just doing what the Queen had asked me to" This was the first I heard about the king having a queen. "Why? Last time I remember you don't take order's from any body?" I heard Lexie's foot steps. I guess he heard them as well cause next thing I know he turned around and took off running.
That's what I turned and was Lexie and Pawllette coming closer to where I was. "Hey what happened?" Lexie asked me. I didn't say anything as she started to come over to me. I turned to her "Who is Andrew?" I asked her without even looking at her. "He was a friend I had when I was a kid" she said and I could tell she was confused. "Do you know what he is?" I asked her still not looking at her.
"Yeah his an old boyfriend" Lexie said still confused. Lexie then walk in front of me. I looked her in the eye giving her a dead look.
Lexie's P.O.V.
The look he was giving me was starting to scare me. I had no clue what was going on. Last time I remember Andrew didn't want anything to do with me and that was years ago. "Eric, what's going on?" I had asked him still trying to get him to relax I could tell he was tense. I tried to grab his arm, but he moved away from me. It hurt. What did I do?
"Eric what did I do?" I ask he didn't answer I knew something was up. But he wouldn't tell me. He kept quit and looking pissed off. I was going to deal with it, I started to walk back to the house. ~If your going to be like that then I'm leaving~ I said using the mind link. He didn't say anything back. And I wouldn't care if he did. He was acting like as if I cheated on him when nothing happened.
When I got back to the house I went to my room without saying anything to anyone. Pawllette knew something was up. She followed me all the way to my room I didn't notice till she had closed the door behind her. "What's the matter Lexie?" she ask with a concern look. I still didn't say anything just sat on my bed with a blank look.
I wanted to cry but I wouldn't let that happen. I'm suppose to be the strong demon fighter showing weakness is not an option. "I don't know" I told her trying not to cry, but she knew me way to well she knew I wanted to do more than just. Pawllette pulled out her phone to text someone "Come on girl lets go for a long drive maybe even to the racing traces." And she was right going out for a drive or the traces to blow off some stem . I looked at her "Alright" was all I said.
I got up from the bed and walked to my closet to change into some dark ripped blue jeans and a plan black shirt, with my black boots and leather jacket. I walked out of the closet Pawllette was sitting on my bed playing on her phone. "Ready?" I asked her with a grin on my face. Before she could say anything there was a knock at the door. Instead of opening it I had asked who it was, when Eric said that it was him I didn't open the door Pawllette did.
"What do you want she doesn't want to talk?" Pawllette said without even looking at me. I was surprised. I've never seen this side of her before. I was able to see the look on his face even thro I didn't want to see him. "Well can you let her know that she's not done with her training for the day..." "For today she is" Pawllette said cutting him off and closing the door.
