Kalin P.O.V

I watch tv in the living room waiting for Myles to come back because we need to talk . I don't want my best friend hating me. The door opens and Myles comes in and closes it .

"Myles " I say turning the volume down

"What ?" He says annoyed as he goes into the kitchen

"We need to talk" I say getting off the couch

"What's there to talk about kalin.. Your going to be a dad and our career could end" he says

"Myles our career isn't going to end bro.. Sure I'm going to be a dad but I can't give up our dream " I say sitting in the chair

"You have responsibilities now " he says

"Yeah but that doesn't mean it has to infer with our job" I say shaking my head

"Yes it does you won't be around that much because you'll have to be with Bethany for the pregnancy "he says. He looks hurt and sad .

"What's the real reason your mad at me Myles ?" I ask

"Because I'm losing my best friend.. we're supposed to be a team but now " he trails off

"I'm going to be a dad " I say finishing his sentence

He nods and sulks down to the kitchen chair .

"I'm still your best friend Myles Im not going to forget you.. How could I were a team ,were kalin and Myles" I say chuckling

"Hell yah were are " he says grinning

"We cool? " I say

"Yeah we're cool " he says as we do our bro handshake

Our door barges in and we see marissa with a odd look on her face and she comes into the kitchen .

"Hey babe ?" I ask curious

"Hey you guys .. I just had the most shocking day today "she says sarcastically

"Why's that?" Myles ask

"Well let's see I went to see Bethany to talk about this whole situation and her door was open so I went inside and I went to her bedroom but guess what ?" She says

"What?" We say interested

"I saw Dylan there and I ease drop on there convo and short story short kalin your not the father of the baby " she says with a serious face

"How can you be so sure ?" I say confused

"Kalin she lied she paid the doctor to fake the results so she can have you to herself and then I would be all sad and Dylan would swoop in and take me " she blurts out

"So kalin is not the father ?" Myles says slowly trying to process this

"He's not " she says proud

"You could be Lying ?" I blurt out before I have a chance to think

"Maybe your just saying this because your not ready for this." I say lookin at her

"Kalin even if you were the father I still stick around you know that " she says trying to grab my hand but I snatch it away

"You have to trust me on this one kalin she's just lying she still mad that me and you are together " she says pleading
